How to Get Snake & Curse Contract in Devil Hunter

Snake and Curse are two of the most powerful contracts in Devil Hunter, but the game makes sure you earn them. You cannot casually walk into these contracts. You have to commit to a faction, prepare properly, and survive some of the hardest solo content in the game.

How to Get Snake & Curse Contract in Devil Hunter

Before anything else, you need to understand one rule:

You can only choose one path.

Public Safety Hunters can get Curse.
Yakaza members can get Snake.
You cannot have both.

Once you choose, the other one is permanently locked.

Faction Requirements

If you want Snake, you must become Yakaza.
If you want Curse, you must remain Public Safety.

Pick carefully. Both contracts are endgame defining.

How to Get Curse Contract

First, go to Floor 0 of the Public Safety Headquarters.
Speak to the Curse Devil NPC.

You will receive a quest with five objectives:

Kill 10 Common Devils
Kill 5 Uncommon Devils
Kill 1 Rare Devil
Kill 5 Players
Win 1 World Event

And here is the real challenge:

You must complete all of this without dying even once.

If you die, your entire progress resets.

This quest forces you to learn positioning, parrying, and PvP survival. Take your time. Do not rush into fights. Pick off isolated enemies. Do your world event last when your nerves are steady.

Once completed, return to the Curse Devil and the contract becomes yours.

How to Get Snake Contract

Snake is harder.

First, you must become Yakaza.

Go to the yellow shop area and enter the Yakaza base.
Talk to the NPC and complete the Yakaza initiation quest.
Once finished, you gain Yakaza access.

Now you must collect 20 Hearts.

Fast ways to get Hearts:
Kill enemies as a Fiend
Trade with players
Use surgical kits on downed enemies
Buy from the Black Market (Press N)

After you have 20 Hearts, go to the Snake cave and speak to the Snake Devil.

You will be sent into the Snake Trial.

Snake Trial – How to Survive It

This is a wave-based solo gauntlet where you must defeat multiple devils without dying.

The hardest waves are:

Mantis
Bat (Double Bat wave)
Frog
Leech

Here is the real survival trick that saves most runs:

Against Mantis, Frog, and Leech — stay extremely close to their body.
Literally hug their hitbox. Most of their attacks cannot properly connect when you are inside them.

For the Double Bat wave, burst down one Bat as fast as possible. If both are alive at full health, they will overwhelm you. Kill one early, then clean up the second.

Once you clear all waves, return to Snake and the contract unlocks.

Curse teaches discipline.
Snake teaches survival under pressure.

Both contracts are worth the effort.
But once you choose your path, there is no going back.
