The Solitary Ninja Event has officially dropped in Anime Vanguards, and with it comes the long-awaited Obito Familiar. This How to Get Obito’s Familiar in Anime Vanguard covers everything you need to know: how to unlock him, what makes him powerful, and how to farm the event efficiently.
Event Overview: Solitary Ninja
Familiar Reward: Obito (Vanguard Familiar)
Event Duration: ~13 days (from release)
Daily Progress: You can earn 20 progress points per day
Total Required: 100 points
Time to Unlock: 5 days minimum, if you complete the daily requirements
Daily Quest Requirements (Updated)
To earn 20 points per day, you must complete the following:
Use Obito Awaken (Legendary or Lower Rarity)
- Clear Sand Village Act 1 one time
Use Obito (Legendary Rarity only)
- Clear Sand Legend Act 1 five times
Important Note:
Even if you own Monarch Obito, these quests require Legendary rarity, not Monarch. Make sure you equip the correct version.
How Long Does It Take?
Each Sand Legend run takes about 5 minutes. So expect:
- ~25-30 minutes/day to finish all five runs
- Less time if you’re using powerful units to speed-clear
This is longer than the Odyssey farm, but easier mechanically since you don’t need to interact with card systems or time-sensitive waves.
Obito Familiar — Passive
Once unlocked, Obito becomes one of the most broken familiars in the current meta. Here’s what makes him so good:
1. Transporting Shinobi
Sell Obito = No money back, but:
The next Obito placement is free
Retains all upgrades from the sold Obito
Infinite Loop: Sell → Place → Maxed → Repeat
This passive allows insane mobility and placement-based burst strategies, especially in boss rushes or leak scenarios.
2. Waking Up
When placed, burn all enemies in range
Burn deals 30% of Obito’s damage over 8 seconds
Stacks perfectly with the infinite sell-loop for repeated burn effects
This passive turns him into a consistent AoE burn tool
3. Strength of Self
+650% damage
+20 range
When fully buffed, Obito deals over 440,000 raw damage per hit
With range boosts and burn synergy, he becomes a map-wide DPS machine
Bonus Info: Soul Trapper Eisen Skin
Obtainable during the same event
Complete summoning and playtime quests
Summon 50 times and use Eisen in matches
Skin is limited, cosmetic only, but collectible
The Obito Familiar is not just powerful — he’s meta-defining. With his infinite place-sell mechanic, AoE burn, and massive stat scaling, he can completely change how you approach dungeons and boss fights.
If you’re serious about high-level progression, unlocking Obito should be your top priority this patch.
