The Nespin Race, officially called Measin, is a newly obtainable race in Absolvement that provides incredible mobility and magic potential. This guide explains how to unlock it, what the quest requirements are, and a detailed showcase of its abilities and advantages.
How to Get the Measin (Nespin) Race
Step 1: Head to the Quest Giver
Start from spawn in Absolvement.
Move towards the Soul Points area — look for a large statue above the zone.
At the top of the stairs or platform near that statue, you’ll find the Quest Gator NPC.
Interact with the NPC to start the “Ancient Rituals” questline.
Step 2: Complete the Ancient Rituals Quest
The quest requires you to collect 820 Bloody Masses.
These can be obtained from Blood Dungeons, which are instanced areas filled with blood-type enemies.
Inside, focus on defeating Blood Monster mini-bosses — they have the highest drop chance for Bloody Masses.
Tip: You can farm in multiplayer; progress is shared among party members, making the grind faster.
Once you collect all 820 Bloody Masses, return to the statue NPC to complete the ritual.
Step 3: Unlocking the Race
After completing the quest, you’ll see a prompt indicating the Measin Race has been unlocked.
This race automatically replaces your current race, and any previous racial traits or visuals will be overridden (including your character’s hair).
Measin Race Abilities & Showcase
1. Enhanced Mobility
Dash Instead of Roll: Measin replaces your traditional roll mechanic with a teleport-style dash, allowing for instant repositioning.
You can chain dashes mid-combat, making it perfect for evasive maneuvers or combo extensions.
The dashes feel smoother and more responsive than normal rolls, letting you weave in and out of attacks effectively.
2. ESP Passive Skill
The race grants an ESP passive, enhancing your physical and magical awareness.
You’ll deal slightly more damage with ESP-based or magic-type skills.
This makes Measin particularly strong for hybrid or mage builds.
3. Double Jump
Another core perk is the ability to double jump, granting excellent vertical mobility.
This is useful for dodging AOE attacks or repositioning during aerial combat.
You can combine this with your dashes to create unpredictable movement patterns.
4. Dash + Combat Integration
You can dash in between M1s, allowing for fast combo resets or sudden repositioning.
Example: M1 → Dash → Continue Combo.
While you can’t dash mid-cast, you can dash before casting to adjust your position and safely land spells.
Build Suggestions
Best for Mage Builds
The ESP passive and high agility make Measin perfect for Mage or ESP builds.
You can quickly reposition between spell casts, keeping distance from melee enemies.
Hybrid Build Potential
If you mix physical and magical damage, the Measin race still provides value with its enhanced physical mobility and combat control.
Notable Weakness
Since the race overrides your previous traits and visuals, certain buffs or cosmetics might be lost.
It’s not ideal for pure tank or brute builds focused on stationary combat.
The Measin Race stands out as one of the most dynamic and movement-focused races in Absolvement.
Its dash mechanics, double jump, and ESP synergy open up advanced combat possibilities for both PvE and PvP.
If you enjoy fast-paced gameplay, spell weaving, and evasive combat, Measin is an essential race to unlock.
