Heroes vs. Hordes Pet Guide
You can take 1 pet into battle with them; whatever pet you choose, will have specific abilities it uses in battle. Apart from this, you can also choose 2 other pets to assign to provide passive abilities to your active pet.
Note: Passive pets must be at least 1* to provide passive support.
How does the system determine the power level needed for an expedition?
– The system will use the power score of your top 12 pets as an average for this.
– If you do not have 12 then it uses the average of your current pets.
Should I release my duplicate pets or hold on to them?
In order to raise a pet’s star level players will need to use other pets as a leveling resource.
The higher the star level a pet gets the higher the “sacrifice” the pet needs to be. (Example: One pet card of 0-star rank is needed to get a pet to 1 star, and Two 2-star pets are needed to get a pet to 3 stars.)
It’s suggested that you retain higher-rarity pet duplicates for this reason.
How does the reward system work in expeditions?
There are 3 slots for rewards for each expedition.
- Slot 1 will always be pet orbs.
- Slot 2 will always be the resource shown on the expedition header. (Like keys if a key is shown.)
- Slot 3 is for a random resource (this resource can be anything awarded from pet expeditions).
How do I get the stones needed to rank up my pet?
You can get the stones needed for rank-ups you need to run expeditions for the affinity of the pet needing the stone. (Neutral orbs are awarded from running neutral expeditions as well as a 3rd slot random reward from any other expedition .)
The stones can come as a random reward from expeditions of that affinity. If these are not enough then you can purchase them Pet Store.
