Heroes of Hammerwatch 2 Warrior/Berserker Build, you can swap Hale for Nimble if you put your stat points into VIT instead of DEX. I just prefer Hale since the stat requirements are getting really high on gear. Celerity and Alacrity on gear are interchangeable, pretty much.

Skill orb priority:

25% CD during rage (start) 10/20/30% Heal on War Cry > 50% CD during Rage == > 25% Killing spree chance on bosses (first one ONLY) > -10/20/30% DR > 30/45/60% DR at low life > Weakness/Greater Weakness on War Cry > 10/20/40% Phys damage > HP regen during killing spree > crit killing spree > Battle Cry

Tavern:

Pancakes for move speed and bonus XP, “Impetuous Apprentice” for cast speed and spell CD, “Soul Anguish” for Mana leech, “Thrill Seeker” for 200% bonus HP regen at 50% HP or lower. You can substitute Thrill Seeker out for others. Slow and Steady is a good pick for -10% DR, but the hit to XP is rough

Trinkets:

War Drums, Torc of Alacrity, Amulet set bonus for 20% life, Brute’s Belt, Exceptional/crude Whetstone, Minstrel’s set bonus, Girdle of Might, and the movement rings are the top-priority items

You hit War Cry –> leap into mob packs and melt them with the daggers. With decent trinket luck, you should be able to kill most, if not all, before the stun wears off.

Your main sustain is spamming War Cry, and you have infinite mana from a single melee attack. Spam war cry to heal as needed. once you get some trinkets, you can use it every couple of seconds. Kite bosses as needed while healing; you can’t facetank forever in higher NGs

What’s the difference between Cast Speed and Cooldown Reduction?

Ccast speed affects two things: the frame delay between button press and skill activation, as well as the refresh rate of spells. 100% cast speed effectively “speeds up time” by 2x for spell cooldowns, and thus works as cooldown reduction. Sources of cast speed are additive.

Cooldown reduction directly reduces a spell’s total cooldown, as you’d expect. Sources of CDR are multiplicative.

Cast speed and cooldown reduction are multiplicative with each other, and so you want both. CDR on suffixes is generally better than cast speed, unless you use charging skills. Below are example formulas.

Cast speed: 40% body, 20% cape = 1 + 0.4 + 0.2 = 1.6
CDR: 15% helmet, 15% gloves = 0.85 * 0.85 = 0.7225

Spell cooldown: 10,000ms = 10000 * 0.7225 / 1.6 = 4,516ms (rounded up)
Spell castpoint: 300ms = 300 / 1.6 = 188ms (rounded up)
