GPO Update 13 has arrived with a huge amount of new content for players to explore. This update adds a brand-new island, a challenging dungeon, new bosses, Fruits, weapons, cosmetics, titles, and several changes to the game’s combat and progression systems.
In this guide, we will go over everything you need to know about GPO Update 13, including the new Blossom Falls island, Dragon Emperor Dungeon, Leopard and Biscuit Fruits, new weapons, boss drops, and the latest balance changes. I’ll also cover the important fixes that were released shortly after the update went live.
There is a lot packed into this update, so if you have not played GPO recently, you will have plenty of new things to check out. Let’s take a closer look at what Update 13 brings to the game.
GPO Update 13: Everything New in Update 13, Codes
Before you start exploring the new content, make sure you redeem the latest GPO codes.
The currently mentioned codes are:
- ILOVEGPO — Gives 5 Free Tailor Vouchers
- FREE_Drops5 — Free drop-related rewards
- FREE_EXP5 — Free EXP
The ILOVEGPO code is particularly useful because Tailor Vouchers can be used to customize Fruits, Fighting Styles, and weapons.
One voucher covers the complete customization cost, even if you change multiple customization tabs, so I would definitely redeem this code before it expires.
New Blossom Falls Island
The main new location added in Update 13 is Blossom Falls.
You can find the island in the Second Sea, slightly southwest of Whole Cake Island. It is also the home of the entrance to the new Dragon Emperor Dungeon, so you will be visiting this island often if you plan to farm the new content.
Blossom Falls is not just a dungeon entrance, either. The island also contains PvP features, training areas, and a crew capture point.
Blossom Falls Features
The new island includes:
- Dragon Emperor Dungeon entrance
- PvP pads
- Training dummies
- Crew capture point
The dummies are useful if you want to test a new build before jumping into a real fight. With Leopard, Biscuit, and the new weapons being added, there are plenty of reasons to test your setup here.
Dragon Emperor Dungeon
The biggest part of Update 13 is the Dragon Emperor Dungeon.
This is a multi-stage dungeon located in Blossom Falls. You will have to progress through several objectives before reaching the final boss.
The dungeon has an objective UI that tells you what you need to do next, which makes it easier to follow the progression without having to memorize every stage.
There are also a few quality-of-life changes that make the dungeon easier to navigate.
Geppo Regeneration
All five Geppos now regenerate as soon as you touch the ground.
This is a pretty useful change because movement can be important inside the dungeon. Instead of worrying about permanently running out of Geppos after using them to move around, you can recover them once you land.
Dungeon MVP Rewards
Another interesting addition is the new MVP reward system.
The MVP of the dungeon receives a random Fruit, giving you an additional reward for performing well during a run.
You can also now store Fruits while inside dungeons, which is a convenient change for anyone who regularly farms these activities.
Dragon Emperor Boss
At the end of the new dungeon, you will encounter the Dragon Emperor.
The boss has a full-form phase, making the fight more challenging as you progress.
Dragon Emperor also has several valuable drops, including the new Mythical Thunder Club.
Dragon Emperor Drops
The current listed rewards are:
- Dragon Emperor’s Cape — 3%
- Dragon Emperor’s Outfit — 3%
- Dragon Emperor’s Gourd — 3%
- Thunder Club — 0.1%
The Thunder Club is easily one of the biggest items to farm in this update. With a 0.1% drop rate, you should expect to spend a lot of time running the dungeon if you want one.
King Mini Boss
King is one of the new mini bosses found inside the Dragon Emperor Dungeon.
Like Dragon Emperor, King also has a full-form phase.
His current cosmetic drops include:
- King’s Mask — 4%
- King’s Outfit — 4%
King also received several balance changes after Update 13 launched because players found his damage to be higher than intended.
Pedro Mini Boss
Pedro is another new mini boss added with the update.
His rewards include:
- Pedro’s Outfit — 8%
- Pedro’s Cape — 10%
- Moonfang Rapier — 5%
The Moonfang Rapier is an Epic weapon and can be obtained from Pedro around Whole Cake Island.
The weapon also has special interactions with the Mink race, including skill buffs and slightly different visual effects.
Biscuit Commander
The Biscuit Commander has also joined the list of bosses you can fight.
He currently drops:
- Biscuit Commander’s Outfit — 6%
- Biscuit Commander’s Shoulder Cape — 8%
These are mainly cosmetic rewards, but they give collectors another reason to farm the boss.
Leopard Fruit
One of the biggest additions in Update 13 is the Leopard Fruit, which has Mythical rarity.
Leopard Ascension comes with two different modes:
- Speed Mode
- Fighting Mode
You can switch between them with Predator Shift.
Damage dealt using Rokushiki and Kamishiki contributes to the mode bar, giving you another way to build toward your desired mode.
There is also an interesting interaction with Kamishiki. You can use Kamishiki while in your base human form even when you have Leopard.
Leopard can also be customized through the Custom Tailor.
Leopard Hybrid Requirement Reduced
After the update launched, the Leopard Hybrid transformation requirement was reduced from 75% to 60%.
This makes the transformation easier to access compared with the original requirement.
Biscuit Fruit
The second new Fruit is Biscuit.
Biscuit has Legendary rarity and can also be customized.
The addition gives players another Fruit to collect and experiment with, particularly if you enjoy trying out new builds whenever an update adds new abilities.
New Thunder Club Weapon
The Thunder Club is a new Mythical weapon that drops from Dragon Emperor.
Its drop rate is only 0.1%, making it one of the rarest items introduced in the update.
The weapon is also custom tailorable.
If you manage to obtain the Thunder Club, you will also unlock the new 雷鳴八卦 (Raimei Hakke) title.
Moonfang Rapier
The Moonfang Rapier is an Epic weapon that comes from Pedro.
It has special Mink interactions that improve its skills and provide different visual effects.
With a 5% drop rate, it is considerably easier to obtain than the Thunder Club, although you will still need to farm Pedro if you want it.
New Cosmetic Rewards
Update 13 adds a large number of new outfits and accessories.
A lot of these are connected to the new dungeon, so if you are a cosmetic collector, you will have plenty of farming to do.
Factory Operator Outfits
There are three new Factory Operator outfits:
- Cannon Operator Outfit
- Heat Laser Operator Outfit
- Reinforcement Operator Outfit
When you rescue a Factory Operator, there is a 20% chance for the player who escorted them to receive that operator’s matching outfit.
Blossom Villager Cosmetics
Four new Blossom Villager outfits have also been added.
You can obtain these by freeing the villagers after defeating King.
Once you collect all four outfits, you receive the Blossom Villager Strawhat.
This makes the villager rescue section of the dungeon more rewarding for players who want to collect everything.
Beast Pirate Cosmetics
The update also adds:
- 2 regular Beast Pirate outfits
- 4 Elite Beast Pirate outfits
- Beast Pirate Rat Hat
- Elite Beast Pirate’s Cape
These provide additional cosmetic rewards from the new content.
Apple’s Professional Suit
A new quest reward called Apple’s Professional Suit has also been added.
You can get this item from a quest given by Mira, who can be found near the entrance to the Mirror World.
If you are working toward a complete cosmetic collection, make sure you check this quest as well.
All Seeing Blossom
All Seeing Blossom is another new cosmetic item added with Update 13.
It is part of the additional cosmetic content introduced alongside the new island and dungeon.
New GPO Titles
Two new titles have been added to the game.
Dragon Slayer Title
The Dragon Slayer title requires you to defeat Dragon Emperor 25 times.
It also comes with a useful perk that gives you 10% additional damage against Dragon Emperor.
This makes the title particularly useful while farming the boss.
Raimei Hakke Title
The 雷鳴八卦 (Raimei Hakke) title is unlocked when you obtain the Thunder Club from Dragon Emperor.
Considering the Thunder Club has a 0.1% drop rate, this is going to be a rare title.
Tailor Voucher Changes
The customization system received some useful changes in Update 13.
All Legendary rarity and higher custom grips are now tailorable.
You can use ILOVEGPO to get five free Tailor Vouchers.
One Tailor Voucher covers the full customization cost for a Fruit, Fighting Style, or weapon, regardless of how many customization tabs you use.
The special Tailor Token bundle has also received a deal where buying two packs gives you one additional pack for free.
Legendary Tailorable Grips
The Legendary grips that can now be customized include:
- Bari Sphere Crush
- Blackhole
- Blo’s Explosive Egg
- Bomu Mines
- Candy Cane Blossom
- Dirty Fireworks
- Dismantle
- Freezing Shatter
- Frostspire Storm
- Gift Explosion
- Haunted Seeking Pumpkin
- Ice Grip
- KO
- Lightning Strike
- Meteor Strike
- Oni
- Ope Scramble
- Paw Grip
- Pica Smash
- Pika Grip
- Reaver
- Sentinel
- String Dissection
- Suna Grip
- Tori Grip
- True Ba’al’s Snake Fire
- Venom Hydra
Mythical Tailorable Grips
The Mythical options are:
- Amaterasu
- Kurohitsugi
- Planetary Devastation
- Susanoo
Tori-Tori is also now available for customization through the Custom Tailor.
Battle Royale Autofill
One of the more useful non-dungeon additions is autofill for Battle Royale and Impel Down queues.
If you want to play duos, trios, or squads but do not have enough friends available, the game can now fill the remaining spots with other players.
For example, if you have two players ready for a squad but need two additional teammates, the system can automatically find other players for those empty spots.
This also works when you are already in a party.
The developers warned that the feature could have bugs because it had not been tested with hundreds of players, and some issues did appear after launch.
Battle Royale Bugs and Fixes
Several Battle Royale problems were discovered after Update 13 released.
One issue caused players to be teleported back too early. There were also problems with the queue zone when large numbers of players joined and left.
The developers continued working on these issues and pushed fixes through the early 13.02, 13.04, and later versions.
If you become stuck in a broken Battle Royale lobby, the suggested fix is to rejoin the game and queue again.
The developers also continued monitoring private Battle Royale and Arena matches for problems.
Impel Down Changes
Impel Down was temporarily disabled while the developers worked on bugs.
It was later restored after the fixes were applied.
A useful change is that you can now access the Impel Down shop directly, meaning you do not have to completely clear the activity every time you want to check the shop.
Direct shop visits use Normal difficulty odds and do not provide dungeon rewards or leaderboard progress.
The shop stock is shared across servers, while Premium players receive a refresh every five minutes.
To use the direct shop, you need to be solo in the lobby and have previously completed Impel Down.
Impel Down queues now require Level 300.
Performance Improvements
Update 13 also includes several performance improvements.
Inventory, HUD, and shop loading have been improved, which should be especially noticeable on mobile devices and for players with large inventories.
The developers also fixed lag caused by repeated M1 attacks during long sessions and addressed additional server memory leaks.
The texture preloader has been improved as well, which should reduce cases where VFX appear late after loading into the game.
King and Kaido Balance Changes
The new dungeon bosses received several adjustments after players had a chance to test them.
King’s damage was reduced multiple times, and the developers eventually removed a 15% damage reduction from him. This means King now takes more damage than he did with that reduction active.
Kaido was also nerfed.
His damage was reduced, and his maximum health was later reduced by 25%.
However, Kaido now heals slightly more when he kills a player, so dying during the fight is still something you want to avoid.
The amount of health that Kaido and King gain from players was also reduced.
Mobile Dungeon Fixes
Some players experienced new FPS problems while playing the Dragon Emperor Dungeon on mobile.
The developers found the cause and released a fix for the issue.
They also fixed FPS drops that could happen after defeating King.
If you were avoiding the dungeon because of performance problems on mobile, these fixes should make the experience considerably better.
Combat Changes
Update 13 changes how several combat abilities interact with Perfect Block.
The following moves now stop completely when Perfect Blocked:
- Draconic Warcry
- Slayer Cross Slash
- Flames of Frost
- Kessui Barrage
- Triple Ripple
- Gravity Field
- Bat Tornado
- Triple Talon Kick
This gives Perfect Block a stronger defensive role against these attacks.
Storm Immunity Changes
Several moves now grant storm immunity to players caught by them and to the user while the move is holding them.
The affected moves are:
- Thunderous Blitz
- Leviathan Plunge
- Dragon Skull Crusher
- Perfume Femur
- Snow Blizzard
- Mochi Buzzcut
- Supreme Mochi Buzzcut
- Kamikaze Hollow
- Golden Age
- Vampire Bite
Kamikaze Hollow is the exception, as only its victims receive the storm immunity.
Fruit Balance Changes
Several Fruits were changed as part of the update.
Buddha
Buddha’s Hybrid Form M1 hitbox has been reduced.
The Hybrid Form now requires 35% mode bar, increased from 20%.
Dragon
Dragon Full Form now loses movement speed as its HP decreases.
The Full Form mode bar also drains around 20% faster, reducing its approximate duration from 90 seconds to 75 seconds.
Draconic Tempest Spiral received a 15% reduction to its speed boost and a 10% reduction to its radius.
Draconic Cataclysm’s damage reduction now lasts through its full endlag.
Goru
Golden Age now gives players caught in it 95% damage reduction from outside sources, similar to Yami R.
Gura
Shock Punch’s cooldown has increased from 9 to 12 seconds.
Horo
Negative Hollow now disappears after 5 seconds, down from 10.
Ope
Shambles can now be used while drowning when the target is a Tact Rock.
Spring
Spring Facebreaker no longer grabs a target who blocks the attack.
Fighting Style Changes
Dragon Claw
Dragon Claw Slashes damage has been reduced by 30%.
Dragon Skull Crusher damage has been reduced by 25%.
Iron Fist
Galaxy Impact now requires 200 stat points instead of 175.
Its storm immunity has been increased from 8 to 15 seconds.
Fist of Love knockback has also been reduced by 30%.
One Sword Style Changes
One Sword Style received several adjustments.
Rapid Slashes now has 37.5% lower damage scaling, while its cooldown has increased from 10 to 13 seconds.
Raging Serpent now costs 30 stamina on the first press instead of 40, and its hold drain has been reduced by half.
Shishi Sonson’s cooldown increased from 10 to 14 seconds.
Dragon Blaze’s cooldown increased from 60 to 75 seconds.
Two Sword Style Changes
72 Caliber Phoenix has received a 20% reduction to damage scaling but also has 0.2 seconds less endlag.
Raging Whirl’s cooldown has been reduced from 15 to 13 seconds.
The move now costs a fixed 40 stamina instead of draining a percentage of stamina.
Its damage scaling has been increased by 25%, and its block break now happens halfway through the spin rather than near the end.
Nitoryu Strike’s cooldown has been reduced from 25 to 20 seconds, while its damage scaling has increased by 15%.
Other Weapon Changes
Moria’s Scissors received a small adjustment to Scissor Impale.
Its endlag has increased by 0.1 seconds, preventing the first M1 that extends from the move from connecting.
Sunken Anchor’s M1 hitbox has also been reduced to match Kraken Blade’s.
More Bug Fixes
Along with the major fixes mentioned above, Update 13 includes a long list of smaller bug fixes.
These include fixes for:
- Blood Queen’s incorrect Peli requirement
- Buddha Hybrid Form remaining active after Dark Root
- Climbing on non-solid surfaces
- Diving Tides attack angles
- Dragon Hybrid animations
- Draconic Tail Slam and Thunderfall
- M1 timing after Diving Tides
- Combat tags

- Player stats and team bars
- Long-distance attacks

- Cyborg upgrade data
- Crew Shop purchases
- Crew Shop rerolls
