ForgeTax Relics and Swords Guide – Effect, Cost (2026)

If you are playing ForgeTax and want to get better at forging swords, relics are one of the most important things you need to understand. They can give you more Success or Great tickets, protect your swords from breaking, increase sword value, improve Frenzy, and even give you extra swords or shop credits.

In this post, we will tell you about all the relics available in ForgeTax, what each one does, how many swords it costs, and which day it starts appearing in the shop. I will also explain the special Day 1 starter relics so you know what you are choosing at the beginning.

I recommend reading through the relic effects before spending your swords. Some relics are much better for making money, while others are designed to help you build high-level swords safely. Once you understand what each relic does, you can choose the ones that fit your ForgeTax strategy instead of buying them randomly.

ForgeTax Relics and Swords Guide – Effect, Cost (October 2026)

From Day 2 onward, the relic shop normally offers three paid relics each day. The number shown beside a relic’s shop day is the number of swords it costs.

For example, Ash Sieve — Day 2 · 1 means Ash Sieve starts appearing from Day 2 and costs 1 sword.

There are also a few relics that are not currently available in the normal shop because they are unavailable or obtained in another way.

Day 1 Starter Gift Relics

When choosing relics, I would not simply pick the most expensive one. The best relic depends on what your current run is already doing.

If you are building around Success, relics such as Bent Nail, Royal Spike, Bronze Cog, Ceaseless Driveshaft and Golden Cog can work very well together.

For a Great-focused build, Lucky Coal, Golden Nail, Royal Spike, Oracle Die, Perfect Mana Core and King’s Empty Cup can give you a lot of opportunities to generate strong results.

If you prefer Hold builds, Sealing Stone, Patient Weight, Cold Teacup, Sealed Heart, Eternal Seed and King’s Empty Cup are worth looking at.

For Frenzy builds, Chained Hourglass, Cracked Wristwatch, Ember Locket, Red Hourglass, Dawn Scabbard, Perfect Mana Core and Undying Wick can all help you get more value from Frenzy.

If you are mainly trying to make money, Inspection Stamp, Heavy Paperweight, Iron Signet, Patched Apron, Cracked Bell, Golden Cog, Dragon Heart and Dragon Signet are some of the relics I would pay attention to.

For survival and Break protection, Black Knot, Iron Hoop, Cracked Splice, Scorched Charm, Dragonscale Tongs, Wirebound Scabbard, Phoenix Ash and Unyielding Cornerstone can help keep your swords alive.

The biggest thing I recommend is looking at your existing relics before buying another one. In ForgeTax, several relic effects become much stronger when they work together. A relic that looks average by itself can become one of the best choices when it completes your current build.
