The Silly Clown Update introduces a limited-time questline, a new troll-style fishing rod, a weekend-exclusive Black Market vendor location, and a full scavenger hunt spanning the entire world. If you want the Silly Fun Happy Rod, the Honk title, and the Clown Car, you must complete this quest before the event ends.
This guide breaks down every requirement, every balloon location, and every item you need—step-by-step and structured for fast completion.
Unlocking the Music Venue (Required for the Quest)
The Silly Clown NPC only appears inside the Music Venue, a special area hidden in the Depths.
Requirements:
- Chaotic Enchant Relic
You can get this relic in two ways:
Method A — Standard Path
- Apply Chaotic as an enchantment to your rod.
- Fish until you catch a Chaotic Mutation.
- This gives you the Chaotic Enchant Relic.
Method B — Dusk Wire (OG Players)
If you have the Dusk Wire, it directly grants access without needing the relic.
How to Enter the Music Venue:
- Go to Depths.
- Head to the back-right area (near the waterfall and maze entrance).
- Cross the metal catwalk and reach the tunnel.
- You’ll enter Crystal Cove.
- Avoid the water here—it kills instantly.
- Jump across the platforms to the black pedestal.
- Place your Chaotic Enchant Relic to unlock the trapdoor.
- The trapdoor opens to the Music Venue.
This area is where the Silly Clown NPC appears for the next 13–14 days.
Black Market Vendor Changes
The update also relocates the Black Market Shopkeeper:
- Now appears every weekend inside the Music Venue.
- His inventory resets every 3 hours.
- Entire shop disappears every Sunday until the next weekend.
Even if you don’t care about the Silly Fun Happy Rod, unlocking the Music Venue is now mandatory for Black Market access.
