The Hyperbolic Time Chamber (HTC) is one of the most important tools for leveling fast in Dragon Ball Final Stand Remastered, but a lot of players jump into it blind and end up wasting potential or getting folded by Goku five seconds in.
This guide breaks everything down — how it works, when to use it, how to enter with friends, and the best ways to actually get XP from it.

What Is the Time Chamber?

The Time Chamber is a Gamepass-only area where you can train by fighting Goku for a limited amount of “potential” time.
If you owned the gamepass in the original Final Stand, you still have it here. Otherwise, it’s around 1,000 Robux, which is expensive, but honestly, if you plan to grind the game seriously, it’s worth it.

You can enter the chamber alone or with a friend — both work a little differently, and both give really solid XP if you do it right.

Requirements Before You Enter

A lot of people mess this part up. You can’t just walk into the chamber at level 5 and expect to survive.
Goku isn’t a punching bag — he fights back, transforms, and absolutely shreds unprepared players.

Recommended level for solo runs: At least level 30 or higher.

Recommended level for co-op runs: You can go a bit lower if you have a friend to help, but don’t go in below 20 unless you enjoy pain.

Having some form of ranged move (like a beam) is basically mandatory, because meleeing Goku straight up will get you killed early.

How Potential & Time Work

Your “potential” is the hidden timer for how long you can stay inside the chamber.
You can think of it like a stamina bar for training — once it runs out, you’re done for that session.

Right now, no one’s 100% sure how potential regenerates, but it’s assumed that you’ll eventually regain it over time or through future updates.

Important:

Inside the Time Chamber, your XP bar becomes your timer.

  • It will look like your XP isn’t moving — that’s intentional.
  • When the bar runs out, your potential ends and you’ll be kicked out.
  • You’ll still gain levels during your session even though the bar doesn’t visually show it.

How To Train Solo

When you go in alone, your opponent will always be Goku — and he’s brutal.
He’ll use Super Saiyan forms, spam moves, and block most melee attempts.
But beating him isn’t the point — surviving and consistently landing attacks is.

Here’s what you should do:

1. Use Beams, Not Just M1 Combos

Goku moves fast, dodges easily, and punishes close-range play.
Beam attacks like Death Beam, Masenko, or Final Flash (if you have it) are your best bet for steady XP.

Each beam hit gives you a large chunk of sparring XP, similar to player-versus-player sparring mechanics.

2. Combine Beams With M1s

If you’re strong enough to combo, you can use M1 attacks to keep pressure, then cancel into a beam mid-combo.
Example: M1 > M1 > M1 > instant beam or move cancel.
You need to time it well because Goku dodges fast.

3. Don’t Spam Right-Click M1s

Right-click M1s are slower and easier for Goku to dodge.
If you’re going melee-heavy, stick to left-clicks and weave in fast skills.

4. Focus on Speed

Speed is a huge stat in this game.
Every 100 speed gives you an extra hit per M1 combo, and it also makes your combos execute faster.
That’s why Goku often dodges you — he’s simply faster.
If you want smoother fights, level up your speed stat a bit before entering.

5. Expect to Lose Early On

The Time Chamber isn’t meant to be easy. You’ll probably get destroyed the first few times — that’s normal.
The more you learn to dodge, combo, and time beams, the better your XP gains get.

Leveling Gains and Soft Cap

Goku gives massive XP for every bit of damage dealt.
Players report gaining 4–6 levels within just a few minutes if they’re landing consistent beams and combos.

However, there seems to be a soft cap inside the chamber — once you level too fast, the gains start slowing down.
When you notice XP barely moving, you’ve likely hit that limit for the session.

How To Enter With a Friend (Co-Op Method)

Training with a friend in the Time Chamber is actually possible, but the timing matters.

Here’s exactly how it works:

Make a Party with your friend.
Whoever invites the other person becomes the party leader.

Leader Goes In First.
The leader should walk into the Time Chamber door first.

Friend Follows Immediately.
As soon as the leader disappears inside the chamber, the friend should enter right after.
You’ll be teleported into the same instance together.

If done right, both of you will load into the chamber at once and can spar together for XP.
If done wrong, one person will load into a separate chamber alone.

Friend Training Tips

Sparring with a friend still gives XP — you don’t need to actually kill them.

Beam clashes count as XP events (if timed right).

You can hit each other freely; just avoid spam-killing, as the XP is better when fights last longer.

Keep an eye on your XP bar (potential timer). Once it empties, your time is over.

How Much XP Can You Get?

If you’re efficient, you can get 4–8 levels per session, depending on your strength and the number of hits landed.
That may not sound insane, but remember — outside of the chamber, getting even one or two levels at higher stages can take an hour or more.
This makes the Time Chamber one of the best ways to skip early or mid-game walls.

The Hyperbolic Time Chamber is easily one of the best XP tools in the game — if you know how to use it.
It’s not for beginners, and it’s not a “press button to level up” feature.
You need to actually fight, dodge, and use your moves smartly.
