Final Fantasy Resonance Vision Crystal Sanctums Guide

Vision Crystal Sanctums are special shrines in Final Fantasy Resonance where you can meet legendary heroes from across the Final Fantasy series and earn their Visions. There are 16 Vision Crystal Sanctums spread across the world, and each one rewards you with a different hero’s Vision.

Finding these sanctums is worth doing if you want to collect every available Vision. Each shrine features a short conversation about the hero’s story, with three questions that let you learn more about their past and personality.

In this guide, we’ll cover all 16 Vision Crystal Sanctums, the regions where you can find them, and the Visions they unlock. I’ll also explain how the questions work, so you know what to expect when visiting each shrine.

Final Fantasy Resonance Vision Crystal Sanctums Guide – All 16 Locations and Visions

Every standard Vision Crystal Sanctum follows the same basic process. A guide asks you three questions about the featured hero’s story, and each question offers three possible answers.

Here’s what you need to know before visiting one:

  • Three questions: Each sanctum asks three questions related to the hero’s own story.
  • No wrong answers: You can choose any of the three answers for each question and still earn the Vision.
  • Different closing lines: In 13 sanctums, certain answers change the hero’s closing dialogue. These responses reflect differences between your character and the hero rather than determining whether you receive the reward.
  • Revisiting sanctums: You can replay a sanctum after obtaining its Vision, but doing so doesn’t provide another reward.

You don’t need to worry about choosing the perfect answers. The important part is finding each sanctum and completing its questions.

Vision Crystal Sanctums by Region

If you’re collecting Visions while exploring the world, grouping the sanctums by region makes it easier to keep track of which heroes you still need to find.

Dirnado, the Continent of Wind

Dirnado contains three Vision Crystal Sanctums.

  • Sanctum of Noctis: Unlocks the Noctis Vision.
  • Sanctum of Onion Knight: Unlocks the Onion Knight Vision.
  • Sanctum of Zidane: Unlocks the Zidane Vision.

Kingdom of Grandshelt

There are four sanctums in the Kingdom of Grandshelt.

  • Sanctum of Clive: Unlocks the Clive Vision.
  • Sanctum of Cloud: Unlocks the Cloud Vision.
  • Sanctum of Terra: Unlocks the Terra Vision.
  • Sanctum of WoL: Unlocks the Warrior of Light Vision.

Mysidia has three sanctums to visit.

  • Sanctum of Bartz: Unlocks the Bartz Vision.
  • Sanctum of Lightning: Unlocks the Lightning Vision.
  • Sanctum of Vaan: Unlocks the Vaan Vision.

You can find three Vision Crystal Sanctums in the Olderion Federation.

  • Sanctum of Tidus: Unlocks the Tidus Vision.

The Zoldaad Empire Territory contains the final three standard sanctums.

  • Sanctum of Cecil: Unlocks the Cecil Vision.
  • Sanctum of Shantotto: Unlocks the Shantotto Vision.
  • Sanctum of Y’shtola: Unlocks the Y’shtola Vision.

Other Sanctums in Final Fantasy Resonance

Not every sanctum follows the standard three-question format. Two additional sanctum-related locations are worth knowing about.

Whirlpool Hollow: Sephiroth’s Sanctum

Whirlpool Hollow contains Sephiroth’s sanctum. Instead of answering questions about the hero’s story, you must fight a battle.

Defeat Sephiroth to earn the Sephiroth Vision. For the battle itself, refer to the game’s Legend Battles guide.

Sanctum of Light

The Sanctum of Light appears during Chapter 1. As part of the story, your party visits this sanctum and receives the Tronn and Leah Visions.

This is a separate story-related location rather than one of the 16 standard Vision Crystal Sanctums listed above.

Tips for Collecting Every Vision

If you’re working toward a complete Vision collection, keep these tips in mind:

  • Track sanctums by region: Use the regional list above to check which heroes you’ve already collected.
  • Don’t overthink the answers: All three answer choices can lead to the Vision reward, so choose the responses you prefer.
  • Pay attention to closing dialogue: Some answers change the hero’s final lines, even though they don’t affect the reward.
  • Revisit only if you want to: You can replay completed sanctums, but there are no additional rewards for doing so.
  • Remember the special sanctums: Sephiroth’s sanctum requires a battle, while the Sanctum of Light is connected to the main story.
