Evo Defense Territory Guide – Arena, Co-op, Gold Mine

When you first unlock Territory in Evo Defense, it can feel like the game suddenly throws ten different systems at you at once. Gold farming, PvP, co-op, gear, crystals—everything opens up quickly, and if you don’t understand what to prioritize, you end up spreading your time too thin.

The key is simple: every Territory feature serves a specific purpose, and once you understand what each one gives you, progression becomes much smoother.

Gold Mine

The Gold Mine is where most of your gold will come from, and early on, you’ll feel just how important that is.

You unlock it after clearing Stage 5, and from that point on, it becomes your go-to farming mode. The biggest advantage here is that it doesn’t consume stamina, which means you can run it as much as you want without worrying about resource limits.

As you climb higher floors, the difficulty increases sharply, but so do the rewards. The higher you go, the more gold you earn, so progression here directly impacts how fast you can upgrade everything else in the game.

Even if you get stuck, you’re not completely blocked. You get two daily Blitz attempts, which let you farm gold instantly using pickaxes. These reset daily and don’t stack, so if you don’t use them, you’re basically wasting free resources.

This mode is simple in concept but extremely important long-term. If you ever feel stuck due to lack of gold, this is where you should focus.

Arena

Arena unlocks at Stage 8 and introduces real-time PvP, which is one of the most rewarding systems in the game.

Each match costs Arena Tickets, but regardless of whether you win or lose, you still earn Recruit Tickets. Winning gives more, but even losses are worth playing, which makes this mode very efficient.

You can earn Arena Tickets daily by spending stamina, and you can also buy additional tickets with diamonds. This is actually one of the best uses of diamonds because it converts directly into more summons, which improves your roster faster.

On top of that, Arena gives you Arena Points, which can be exchanged for valuable resources. The higher your rank, the better your rewards, so climbing consistently makes a noticeable difference over time.

Arena isn’t just about skill—it’s also about consistency. Playing daily, even casually, builds up a lot of value.

Co-op Mode

Co-op unlocks at Stage 10, and this is where your gear progression really begins.

You team up with another player and clear waves together, finishing with a boss. Completing runs gives you gear chests and forge materials, which are used to upgrade and refine your equipment.

Unlike Arena, Co-op uses tickets that regenerate over time, so you’re limited in how many runs you can start yourself. However, there’s a huge advantage here—if someone invites you, you can join without using your own ticket.

That means the smartest way to play Co-op is to accept as many invites as possible, since it lets you farm more gear without spending your own resources.

As stages get harder, gear becomes essential, so this mode quickly shifts from optional to mandatory if you want to keep progressing.

Mole’s Den

Mole’s Den unlocks at Stage 15 and works very differently from other modes.

Instead of active gameplay, this is more of a passive system where you send moles to mine crystals over time. These crystals are used for cloaks, which become very important later for boosting your stats.

You use items like sensors and detectors to find mining spots, and carrots can speed up the process. The key here is consistency—this isn’t something you grind in one session, it’s something you check regularly.

There’s also a social aspect. Feeding other players’ moles with special carrots gives you extra rewards, which means interacting with others actually benefits you.

Think of this system as a long-term investment rather than an instant reward.

Cafeteria

The Cafeteria is one of the simplest systems—but also one of the easiest to forget.

It unlocks early and gives you free stamina at specific times during the day. If you claim it regularly, it adds up to a huge amount of extra gameplay over time.

The important detail is that it has a storage cap. If you don’t claim it and it fills up, you start losing stamina that you could have used.

So while it doesn’t feel important in the moment, consistently collecting from the Cafeteria is one of the easiest ways to speed up your progress.

Rankings

The ranking system tracks top players across different modes like:

  • Main Stage
  • Arena
  • Co-op
  • Gold Mine

But the real value comes from milestone rewards. When someone on your server reaches a new milestone, everyone benefits.

This means you can earn rewards like recruit tickets just by being active on a progressing server, even if you’re not the one pushing those milestones yourself.

It’s basically free value, and there’s nothing you need to do except stay active.

Codex

As you progress through stages, you unlock entries in the Codex for different enemy types.

Each entry gives diamonds:

  • Minions give smaller rewards
  • Elites give more
  • Bosses give the most

Individually, these rewards don’t seem huge, but over time they stack into a solid source of diamonds. It’s not something you actively farm, but it passively rewards your progression.
