Enshrouded Embervale Museum Entrance Guide
Embervale Museum Overview
The proper way to enter the Embervale Museum is by looking for a teleporter in the Cinder’s Cradle region, part of the Activating the Gate to the Stars quest. Nevertheless, if you’re not yet at this point in the game, you can bypass the requirements by building a Flame Altar near the museum’s entrance.
How to Enter the Embervale Museum
To access the museum early, start by acquiring some Stone and placing a Flame Altar directly in front of the entrance. With the Flame Altar set up, equip your Building Hammer and toggle Building Mode. Use the 1m Wall Block or Cube options to remove blocks from the sides of the door. Once a sizable hole is made, squeeze through the opening, then ensure you tag the teleporter and Flame Shrine located near the lobby to open the main door for full access.
Embervale Museum Location
You can easily reach the Embervale Museum by climbing from the mountain west of the Alchemist’s vault. To assist with your ascent, utilize your pickaxe to dig up the edges of steep slopes. You’ll know you are close when you spot a road leading north that takes you right to the museum’s entrance.
Loot in the Embervale Museum
Once in the museum, head into the lobby and take a right to enter the main hall. Be mindful of the high-level robot enemies present. Continue as you follow the path until you see a sarcophagus on your right; this contains a random item of level 45 or higher, alongside Gold Coins. The specific loot found within the sarcophagus is randomized, providing a fresh treasure every time you access it.
Bypassing the Energy Barrier
At the far end of the main hall, there’s an energy barrier obstructing access to an elevator leading underground. You can bypass this by again utilizing a Flame Altar to break the floor tiles, keeping in mind that doing this can be much more challenging if attempted while inside the museum due to enemy encounters. Another route involves climbing to the mountain’s peak to navigate to the question mark location on your map, then digging down to reach removable tiles below the barrier. Proceed with caution, as this area leads to treasures you can’t access without Archaic Lockpicks, which are acquired in the Cinder’s Cradle region.
