Elementallis Walkrhtough Guide – Heart Shard, Mana Shard

Exploring the world of Elementallis is already rewarding on its own, but going for full completion adds an entirely different challenge. While the game does a great job encouraging exploration naturally, some collectibles are hidden so well that many players finish the story while still missing several upgrades.

Heart Shards, Mana Shards, and Elementarium Ore are all required if you want maximum stats and full armor upgrades. The problem is that a few of them are tucked into extremely easy-to-miss locations, especially in later regions where vertical exploration becomes more important.

This guide explains the total collectible counts, how the upgrade system works, and where each region hides its major collectibles so you can fully complete the game without endlessly wandering around searching random corners.

Elementallis Walkrhtough Guide – Heart Shards, Mana Shards

To completely finish every collectible requirement in Elementallis, you need:

  • 36 Heart Shards
  • 32 Mana Shards
  • 10 Elementarium Ore

Collecting all of them allows you to:

  • Reach maximum health
  • Fully upgrade mana capacity
  • Max out armor upgrades

Everything listed here has been checked across multiple save files to confirm the totals.

How Heart Shards Work

At the beginning of the game, your character starts with:

  • 3 Hearts

As you progress through the story, temples and bosses reward additional permanent health increases.

Temple Heart Rewards

Each elemental temple rewards:

  • 1 Full Heart Container

Since there are:

  • 7 temples total

you automatically gain:

  • 7 permanent hearts

just from clearing temples.

Hydra Heart Reward

The Hydra boss also rewards:

  • 1 Full Heart Container

This means your guaranteed permanent hearts become:

  • 11 total hearts

after combining:

  • Starting health
  • Temple rewards
  • Hydra reward

Maximum Health Calculation

The full health bar reaches:

  • 20 hearts

Since you naturally reach 11 hearts through progression, you still need:

  • 9 extra hearts

Each full heart requires:

  • 4 Heart Shards

So the world contains:

  • 36 Heart Shards total

Mana Shard Breakdown

Mana upgrades work similarly but use different scaling.

You begin with:

  • 4 mana units

The full mana bar reaches:

  • 10 total units

To fully complete the bar, you need:

  • 6 additional mana upgrades

After calculating all shard requirements, the total number of Mana Shards in the game is:

  • 32

Elementarium Ore Explained

Elementarium Ore is required for armor upgrades.

The complete upgrade path costs:

  • 2 ore
  • 2 ore
  • 3 ore
  • 3 ore

That means:

  • 10 total Elementarium Ore

are required for maximum armor progression.

Because there are only ten in the entire game, missing even one can stop full completion entirely.

Fire Region Collectibles

The Fire region contains:

  • 4 Heart Shards
  • 3 Mana Shards
  • 2 Elementarium Ore
  • 1 Temple Heart reward

Several collectibles here are hidden around lava routes and elevated rocky sections, so checking vertical paths carefully helps a lot.

Nature Region Collectibles

The Nature region includes:

  • 4 Heart Shards
  • 4 Mana Shards
  • 1 Elementarium Ore
  • 1 Temple Heart reward

This area is generally easier to explore because visibility is much better compared to later maps.

Ice Region Collectibles

The Ice region contains:

  • 3 Heart Shards
  • 3 Mana Shards
  • 2 Elementarium Ore
  • 1 Temple Heart reward

One of the easiest ores to miss in the entire game is hidden underneath a bridge in this region.

A lot of players never think to search below pathways here.

Earth Region Collectibles

The Earth region contains:

  • 4 Heart Shards
  • 3 Mana Shards
  • 2 Elementarium Ore
  • 1 Temple Heart reward

Some hidden items are tucked behind breakable terrain or hidden inside cave walls.

Water Region Collectibles

The Water region includes:

  • 4 Heart Shards
  • 3 Mana Shards
  • 1 Elementarium Ore
  • 1 Temple Heart reward

Water routes and hidden underwater paths make this area surprisingly easy to overlook during normal exploration.

Wind Region Collectibles

The Wind region contains:

  • 4 Heart Shards
  • 3 Mana Shards
  • 1 Elementarium Ore
  • 1 Temple Heart reward

A few collectibles are hidden on higher platforms that players often ignore while following the main route.

Electricity Region Collectibles

The Electricity region includes:

  • 3 Heart Shards
  • 3 Mana Shards
  • 1 Elementarium Ore
  • 1 Temple Heart reward

Puzzle sections here can distract players from nearby hidden paths and corners.

Darkness Region Collectibles

The Darkness region contains:

  • 3 Heart Shards
  • 3 Mana Shards
  • Hydra Heart reward

Hydra progression rewards alternate between:

  • Heart upgrades
  • Mana Shards

depending on the Hydra level defeated.

This region becomes one of the most important areas for late-game completion cleanup.

Most Commonly Missed Collectibles

Several collectibles are hidden in locations players naturally ignore during normal gameplay.

The most common missed locations include:

  • Under bridges
  • Behind waterfalls
  • Around cliff edges
  • Hidden cave entrances
  • Elevated ledges
  • Temple side rooms

The Ice region especially hides items underneath structures instead of placing them directly along the main route.

Best Tips for 100% Completion

Revisit Older Areas

Some regions become much easier to explore after unlocking later traversal abilities.

Search Below Platforms

Not every collectible is placed above you. Some are intentionally hidden underneath bridges and pathways.

Fully Explore Temples

Several players leave temple areas immediately after boss fights and miss nearby collectible rewards.

Check Every Dead End

In Elementallis, suspicious dead ends often hide valuable items.

Track Regions Individually

Instead of searching the entire world randomly, compare collectible totals by region to narrow down missing items faster.

Elementallis handles collectibles really well because exploration feels rewarding instead of forced. Most upgrades are hidden logically within the environment, which makes finding them satisfying without feeling completely unfair.

That said, the final few collectibles can absolutely become frustrating if you forget where you already searched. The game especially likes hiding important upgrades in areas that seem visually unimportant at first glance.

If you are sitting at nearly 100% completion, chances are your missing collectible is hiding somewhere small, hidden beneath a platform, or tucked into a corner you sprinted past earlier in the story.
