Digimon UP SP Support Tier List – Best SP Support Digimon

SP Support Digimon play a major role in increasing your team’s damage output. Unlike regular Support Digimon, these units provide powerful passive effects or temporary buffs that activate during battle, making them valuable additions for both story progression and endgame content.

Digimon UP SP Support Tier List – Best SP Support Digimon

This tier list ranks every currently available SP Support Digimon based on their maximum potential at Breakthrough 10. Rankings take into account overall usefulness, unique skills, rarity, and how much they improve team performance in difficult battles.

Tier SP Support Digimon
SS WarGreymon (SP Ver.)
S Nefertimon
A Pegasusmon, Halsemon
B Digmon, Flamedramon

The rankings assume every summonable SP Support Digimon has reached Breakthrough 10, allowing their Unique Skills to reach maximum effectiveness. Higher-rarity Digimon naturally have stronger base stats, while offensive buffs and damage-dealing abilities are valued much more than defensive effects because they help players clear content faster.

It’s also worth remembering that the five free SP Support Digimon cannot currently be upgraded through Breakthrough, meaning summon-exclusive Digimon eventually become much stronger investments.

SS Tier

WarGreymon (SP Ver.)

WarGreymon (SP Ver.) stands at the top of the current SP Support meta thanks to its incredibly powerful passive ability. Whenever your Partner lands a critical Normal Attack, WarGreymon automatically unleashes a devastating area-of-effect attack that can reach 250% damage at maximum Breakthrough.

Since this ability is completely passive, there’s no need to manually activate it or wait for cooldowns, allowing it to consistently contribute extra damage throughout every battle.

Its combination of high rarity, constant activation, and massive AoE damage makes it the strongest SP Support Digimon currently available.

S Tier

Nefertimon

Nefertimon is an excellent offensive support that specializes in boosting your entire SP Support lineup. After your Partner uses a skill, Nefertimon grants Support Damage Up for 5 seconds, increasing support damage by as much as 60% at maximum Breakthrough.

Rather than improving only a single Digimon, this buff can strengthen the damage dealt by multiple Support Digimon at once, making it especially valuable for teams built around support-triggered attacks. Its powerful damage amplification easily earns it a place among the best SP Supports in the game.

A Tier

Pegasusmon

Pegasusmon focuses on improving Combo Damage, making it a fantastic choice for players who frequently trigger combo attacks during combat. After using a skill, Pegasusmon increases Combo Damage by up to 48% for 5 seconds, allowing combo-focused teams to deal significantly more burst damage.

Compared to lower-tier alternatives with similar effects, Pegasusmon offers a noticeably stronger bonus, making it one of the best offensive support options for combo-heavy team compositions.

Halsemon

Halsemon excels at boosting Critical Damage, making it an ideal partner for teams that consistently land critical hits. After using a skill, it increases Critical Damage by up to 48% for 5 seconds, greatly improving the damage potential of critical-based builds.

Since many powerful Digimon naturally have high Critical Rate, Halsemon fits comfortably into a wide variety of offensive teams and provides a much stronger buff than other Digimon offering similar critical damage effects.

B Tier

Digmon

Digmon also provides a Combo Damage buff after using a skill, but its maximum bonus reaches only 32% for 5 seconds, making it noticeably weaker than Pegasusmon.

It still performs well in combo-focused teams and can help increase overall damage during longer fights, but players who eventually obtain Pegasusmon will usually replace Digmon because of the larger damage boost and better long-term scaling.

Flamedramon

Flamedramon increases Critical Damage by up to 32% for 5 seconds after using a skill, providing a respectable boost for critical-focused teams. While the effect works well and is easy to activate, its lower buff percentage makes it less impactful than Halsemon. It remains a useful early- and mid-game SP Support, especially if stronger critical-support Digimon haven’t been unlocked yet.

SP Support Digimon can dramatically increase your team’s overall damage, especially once they’re upgraded through Breakthrough. While every support has its own specialty, offensive abilities currently dominate the meta, making damage-focused Digimon far more valuable than defensive alternatives.

If you manage to summon WarGreymon (SP Ver.), it’s well worth making it your primary SP Support thanks to its consistent passive AoE attacks. For players without it, Nefertimon, Pegasusmon, and Halsemon all provide excellent offensive buffs that can carry your team through most of Digimon UP’s content.
