Capybara GO Merge Guide – Equipment Evolutions Tips
After you merge equipment into another, you will lose the fodder equipment when you downgrade it, and instead get back a ‘billet’ which can be used to merge into any equipment of the same color EXCEPT on merges where it requires dupes. Refer to the image by Dogzilla to see what tier of merges require dupes.
As you can see, to upgrade equipment from yellow+2 to yellow +3, you need a dupe of the equipment. That means that downgrading a yellow +3 equipment will give you 3 billets, so you will lose the dupe. This is important.
