If you’re suddenly getting 1 hit killed by slimes, chances are your Capybara needs a thicker hid and here is a Capybara Go Damage Reduction Tips & Tricks.
Damage reduction is the single most important defensive stat you need to survive the harsh world. Good for you, I’m here to tell you how it works!
Capybara Go Damage Reduction Tips & Tricks
As of version 1.2.2, there are multiple types of damage reduction. We will be focusing on the 2 most important ones.
Where is my damage reduction?
A + B = Total Basic Atk Reduction
A + C = Total Skill Dmg Reduction
NEW
In chapters 1-80: The maximum reduction is capped at 75%
New In chapters 81-140: You need (Chapter level + 15)%. Chapter 127 will require (127+15)% = 142% reduction to hit cap
New In chapters 141-150: You need approximately (Chapter level + 20)%. Chapter 142 will require a 162% reduction
New In chapters 150 to 160?: You need approximately (Chapter level + 25)%. Chapter 155 will need a 180% reduction
It is extremely important to hit or exceed the reduction cap. Due to the way the damage formula is calculated, even 1% off can mean taking 20m more per basic attack at higher chapters.
How does damage reduction work?
Simply put, if a monster attack is 100m and you have cap reduction, you will receive 25m.
The 2 most important types of damage reduction
Basic Atk reduction – reduces basic hits you receive (includes basic atk, combo atk, counter atk)
Skill dmg reduction – reduces skill damage you receive (includes lightning, dagger, rage, sword chi, divine spear). There is a separate burning/poison damage reduction in 1.4.1, however, I personally think it’s only worth applying in PVP or to get past specific stages. You can put it in a random pet to get past those “hard to pass” stages
TLDR: Get (Chapter level+20)% reduction to survive up to chapter 150! Updated with latest data of higher chapters.
