This Capybara Go Angel Bow Guide caters primarily to players with a Mythic angel bow. The info written in here is based on my playstyle and preferences, take it with a pinch of salt.
Capybara Go Angel Bow Guide – Best Build, Pets, Skills
AngelBow: benefits from the innate weapon crit rate and sustains from its mythic skill (turning into Angel Power)
Angel dagger
- 1.33x of normal dagger damage
5% hp heal
Angel form (basic atk/combo/counter) holy light
- 100% ATK as damage (affected by critDMG)
- 10% MaxHP heal
ComboMastery: is the easiest ATK scaling skill in chapters players have access to. As such, getting your combo rate up is a priority to make it consistent.
AngelBow: damage comes from both basicATKs and daggers – making it one of the more flexible weapons as chapter skill offerings often have enhancements to both.
AngelPower: Angel Power uptime is a big source of damage, referencing the “holy light” above.
Equipment
Armour:
Tunic: would be my go-to option if maxHP is not an issue. Great for boosting damage to clear the Day25 boss on 60-day chapters.
Dragon Breath: if you are not facing damage issues and would prioritize safety and more global HP%
Rings:
Guardian: use two if you don’t have damage concerns. I run angel bow with a minimum of one, as the consistency of angel daggers before tier 5 arcana is not great.
Judgment: great as a damage option. It boosts skill crit rate and skill crit damage. Most of your chapter damage comes from skills, so this is better than DragonBall, in my opinion.
Accessory/Necklace:
Bloody Grail: use two of these. Angel Bow benefits heavily from grail as it does both basic Atk and skill crits.
Glory Proof: At Mythic is good as a general damage reduction option (i use this because i need to, if your pet build has enough for the chapter you don’t need it.)
Hero/Brands
Hero:
Knight Of The End: generally a good option for survivability.
Judgement Reaper: reaper activations are able to proc “holy light”, so it is a great option for angel bow for both sustain and damage.
Brands:
I generally run with these at all times using angel bow
Wild Vulture: at legendary provides +1 to combo count, making it universally good for builds to scale ATK with Combo Mastery
Nimble Murloc: provides additional combo rate
Stone Guardian: comes with a built-in basic ATK shield, although the shield looks small visually – it’s a very decent survivability option
These are my flex options:
Harpy: for chapters that require shock discharge
Spiked Club Cactus: for counter rate (I love using counters to maintain max HP so that i heal back after mob basic atk to survive rage)
Sharp Rogue: for the flame dagger (I haven’t tested this extensively with angel bow)
Pirate Swordman: for the innate sword aura skill. Sword aura is a very decent source of damage and I often pick it if I need damage.
Mount/Artifacts
Mount
- Diego: is the best source of damage scaling you can get. Has much needed combo rate as well.
- Lumious Dragon: is a good alternative to shore up crit rate and damage.
- Toffee: is used when I get oneshot and I don’t have damage scaling issues.
Artifact
DemonicEye: if you play angel bow with combo/counter, this should be your go-to option most of the time because of Vampire
Spear Of Thor: is a very decent damage option as well, but anti-heal is basically required past chapter 80.
Pets
Elsa: not much to say here, it’s Elsa.
SlimeKing: I run SK because it provides two stats that bows lack, combo and counter rate. Helps to boost the consistency of combo/counters.
Freya: I run Freya over Unicorn because the skill DMG it provides is huge. Freya’s pet skill also hits very hard due to it being considered “Skill DMG”.
Unicorn: This is also good, you need to assess if your Freya is comparable in terms of pet level which affects your overall hero’s stat.
LittleElephant: If you have a mythic angel bow, sustain shouldn’t be an issue. If you’re still using this, the only reason would be for the base stat as it’s easier to get more copies of ele than other mythic pets.
Skills
Core Skills (Always take)
ComboMastery, CounterProficiency, ShrinkSpell, DaggerCooldown, ShockDischarge
Damage Options
CritMastery, BasicAttackBolt, BasicAttackSwordChi, DaggerRage, DaggerLightning
Survivability Options
Frostbite, BasicAttackIceSpike, FrozenTouch, Dodge, LifeSteal, RageShield
Angel Form wants to combo/counter as much as possible to proc “holy light”.
To ensure the consistency of AngelPower, you might need to pick up a dagger skill or two. The uptime of this skill is essential for both damage and survivability.
There are other great skill options, I find myself picking these up more often than others.
General skill tips: Picking skill types like Rage Light Spear, and Roundbased Fire Strike makes the pool of skills you can get much bigger. I generally avoid these skills so that I get a better skill selection after D25/40 bosses.
