Recommended Flow & Abilities
To get the best performance out of Sae, you’ll want to prioritize shot power in your flow. Some good flow traits to aim for include:
- Dribbler Priority (Best option)
- Shot Power Boost
- Gil Burst (Not ideal, but usable)
Avoid traits like Soul Harvester, which provides no shot power.
Base Abilities
1. Perfect Pass
As the name suggests, this move delivers a perfect pass to a teammate.
Issue: Frame passes are more reliable since they can’t be intercepted. A perfect pass can be blocked if the opponent jumps in front of it.
Verdict: Should be replaced with a better skill after his rework.
2. Magical Turn
A quick, sharp turn that allows you to reposition and set up shots.
Works best when combined with shot stacking:
Activate Magical Turn
Stack flow shot
Take your shot when the goalkeeper is less prepared
If you have Dribbler Priority, this combo becomes much stronger.
Ultimate Ability
Sae’s Ultimate Shot is underwhelming because it requires being directly in front of an opponent, making it easy to get tackled.
More effective against AI than real goalkeepers.
A better option in his base kit is the Heel Flick move:
Allows you to jump over opponents to maintain possession.
Be mindful of ball positioning after using it.
How to Score More Effectively
1. Shot Stacking
Combine Magical Turn and Flow Shot to confuse the goalkeeper.
2. Fake-Out Normal Shots
Instead of immediately shooting, follow this method:
Hold your shot button
Look down to fake the opponent
Shoot to the opposite side
This works well because many goalkeepers expect the first movement to be a shot and react too early.
3. Perfect Pass Shot (Advanced Tech)
Similar to Shidou’s header technique:
Press V and C at the same time
This allows you to Magical Turn into a shot
Hard to execute but rewarding if mastered
