The Arise: Ragnarok Crossover beta has finally arrived, giving players a first taste of what’s shaping up to be one of Roblox’s most ambitious RPG experiences.  Although the current build only includes about 10% of the planned full release content, there’s already plenty to explore — from class progression and shadow summoning to early dungeons and stat customization.

This Arise Ragnarok Crossover Beginner Guide covers everything you need to know to start strong and prepare for upcoming events like the Halloween launch event.

Arise Ragnarok Crossover Beginner Guide – Quests, Mana

1. Beta Phase

Before diving in, remember that the game is currently in beta, which means:

You’re playing an early version of the game focused on testing and feedback.

Only two classes are available so far — Mage and Assassin.

Progress will carry over to the full release, so starting now gives you a major head start.

The developers are polishing systems, fixing bugs, and preparing new zones and mechanics for launch. That said, don’t underestimate the beta — there’s still a lot to do.

2. Choosing Your Starting Class

Upon entering the game, you’ll be prompted to roll for your starting class. This roll is currently free, and you can choose between:

Mage – Specializes in powerful area and elemental attacks. Best for players who prefer ranged combat and high burst damage.

Assassin – Focuses on speed, critical hits, and close-range precision strikes. Perfect for aggressive playstyles.

Both classes are viable and well-balanced for the beta. If you’re unsure, go Assassin for faster early progression, or Mage for safer, ranged control.

3. Starting Quests and Leveling Basics

Once you’ve chosen a class, look around the hub area for NPCs with blue quest markers. These NPCs offer starter quests, which are essential for learning the game mechanics and gaining your first few levels.

How quests work:

  • Accept a quest from an NPC with a blue icon.
  • The quest location will appear on your map.
  • Travel there, and a portal will open with enemy waves to defeat.
  • Clear the portal to complete the quest and earn XP and rewards.

Each defeated enemy has a chance to become your Shadow, which you can summon to fight alongside you using the E key.

Tip: Complete at least five blue quests to build up enough levels and shadows for smoother progression.

4. Unlocking Yellow and Red Quests

After building a solid start, move on to yellow quests. These are tougher, but offer far greater rewards:

  • Yellow Quests → Mid-tier challenges with high XP and shadow drops.
  • Red Quests → High-level content unlocked around Level 50+, offering the best gear and experience gains.

Progression Tip: Don’t rush into yellow quests too early. Aim for level 20–25 before transitioning.

5. Managing Health, Mana, and Shadows

Survivability is key in Arise: Ragnarok Crossover, especially since fights can quickly spiral out of control.
Here’s how to stay alive:

  • Potions restore your health and mana, usable every 60 seconds.
  • Shadows have their own HP bars. If they fall in battle, you must resummon them using mana.
  • Maintain a mana buffer — never let it drop too low, or you won’t be able to call your shadows back.

6. Stat Points & Character Growth

Each time you level up, you earn stat points that you can allocate to six different attributes:

Stat Effect
Strength Increases melee attack power.
Intellect Boosts spell damage.
Shadow Enhances your summoned shadows’ attack strength.
Vitality Increases maximum health.
Agility Improves movement speed.
Mana Expands your mana pool.

Recommended Early Build:

  • 50% Strength
  • 40% Vitality
  • 10% Mana

This setup gives you strong damage and survivability while maintaining enough mana to resummon shadows consistently.

7. Multiplayer & Team Play

Arise Ragnarok supports co-op gameplay, allowing you to quest and explore with others. However, there’s one key rule:

You cannot gain XP or arise shadows by completing another player’s quest.

That means each player must individually accept and complete their own objectives. Still, teaming up helps a lot during dungeon runs or tough fights.

8. Dungeon System (Every 30 Minutes)

Every 30 minutes, special Dungeons appear on the map. These timed events are one of the best sources for gear and XP.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Each dungeon features powerful enemies and a boss encounter.
  • Completing it rewards you with massive experience and a treasure chest.
  • Chests can drop armor, artifacts, or weapons (sometimes not class-compatible).

Pro Tip: Always run dungeons with a team. Soloing is possible, but expect multiple deaths if under-leveled or under-geared.

9. Gear, Loot, and Item Tips

  • Gear drops can include class-specific armor and universal accessories.
  • Artifacts often provide passive bonuses to stats or shadow power.
  • Keep farming even if you get gear for another class — you can store or trade them later when the system is implemented.

10. What’s Next in the Beta

The developers have confirmed this beta only showcases around 10% of the final content, which means:

  • More classes will be added later.
  • A full Halloween Event is on the way soon, with limited-time gear and cosmetics.
  • New zones, bosses, and systems (like trading and PvP) are being developed.

Joining now ensures you keep your progress and get an early edge before the official release.

The Arise: Ragnarok Crossover beta is the perfect time to dive in, learn the mechanics, and build your character before the full game releases. With your progress carrying over and a major event around the corner, starting now means you’ll enter launch day already strong and well-equipped.
