Mountain of Imprisonment is the 7th region in Phantom Blade Zero, featuring a total of 38 collectible locations. You’ll want to tackle these collectibles in chronological order to ensure you don’t miss anything vital for trophies and complete the game at 100%. Missable items are clearly marked, so you can plan ahead and collect everything without worry.
This area is essential for unlocking the True Ending, and to access it, you need to obtain the Illusory Pipa by completing the quest “Illusory Pipa.” After acquiring it, head to the mist located at the very north side of the Lake Meigu region.

Mountain of Imprisonment
#1 – Bell (The Lady’s Path)
From where you wake up, it’s directly ahead on the hill to the left.
#2 – Baishan Writ (Accessory)
From The Lady’s Path Bell, you’ll spot an injured NPC on the road. Walk past her slightly to hear her cry out, then turn around to pick it up off her corpse.
#3 – Iron Butcher Mask (Tempering Materials)
Head into the large area and defeat Iron Butcher, The Frenzied Brute to acquire this item.
#4 – Bell (Iron Butcher’s Camp)
This collectible is located in the arena where you fought Iron Butcher, The Frenzied Brute.
#5 – Blackstone Fragment
From the Iron Butcher’s Camp Bell, it’s directly ahead in the nearby area.
#6 – Memory Flower
From the Iron Butcher’s Camp Bell, turn around and climb up the cliff, then interact with the wall to slide down into the building where the collectible is located.
#7 – Memory Flower
Head up the ladder to the left of the Iron Butcher’s Camp Bell and run across the wall to find the next flower.
Cui Objective 1
After getting #7, go up the stairs and free the man from the cage on the scaffolding above.
#8 – Talisman of Despair (Accessory)
Once you free the man from the cage, burn the branches and continue down the hill. He’ll reward you with this item.
#9 – Bell (Hanging Cage Cavern)
Keep following the path across the cliff side from the previous collectible; it will be located at the cave entrance.
#10 – Blackstone Fragment
From the Hanging Cage Cavern, head forward and defeat all the enemies in the large area to find this fragment.
#11 – The Broad Saber (Tale)
Open the nearby cell from #10 and talk to the Wulin Fighter for this item.
#12 – Hero’s Lament (Tale)
Afterwards, head up the hill and use the chain to lower the cage, then interact with Liu Yi to proceed.
#13 – Bell (Cavern Passage)
Turn around from the previous objective and you’ll find this bell right behind you.
#14 – Juggernaut (Weapon)
This weapon is acquired by defeating Bi Feng, Giant Saber Commander.
#15 – Bell (Commander’s Platform)
You can find this at the arena where you had your battle with Bi Feng.
Key Item – Ritual Cauldron Fragment III
After defeating Bi Feng, return to the Wulin Fighter for this item.
#16 – Memory Flower
From the Bi Feng arena, climb up the scaffolding on the right side to find this.
Key Item – Rootless Dew
Head towards the left up the stairs after beating Bi Feng and grab this item—ensure you collect it before moving on to Cui Objective 3, or risk missing it!
Key Item – Detached Cage Lever
Climb the ladder to the tower following your battle with Bi Feng, and drop inside the building on the left.
Cui Objective 2
Return to the previous item, drop down and open the door on the right to have a conversation with Lu Sanquian.
Don’t Forget Me Objective 1
Follow the path ahead after the last conversation, head down the hill, and kick down the tree on your left to free the man in the cage.
#17 – Sha-Chi Amber Fragment
From the previous objective, turn back and follow the path ahead. Climb the tower at the small camp where you find it.
#18 – Ledger of Atonement (Tale)
Climb the stairs from the previous collectible, then interact with the Agonized Ironmask until he asks you to retrieve his ledger.
#19 – Memory Flower
Upon reaching the cave, continue past until you spot the collectible on one of the bodies.
#20 – Bell (Shrine Outer Gate)
This bell is immediately next to the previous collectible.
#21 – Sha-Chi Amber Fragment / Key Item – Missing Lift Crank
You’ll earn this for defeating Kui Yanyan, The Deranged.
Don’t Forget Me Objective 2
After battling Kui Yanyan, interact with the nearby body to find more clues.
#22 – Memory Flower
Look left, underneath the scaffolding where you dropped down. Break the boxes, slide down the wall, and you’ll find it.
#23 – Blackstone Fragment
Return to the previous collectible, turn around, and spot this fragment on the edge of the path.
Ledger of Atonement Objective
Head back into the cave, follow the left wall, and confront the enemy that summons wolves. Choose the right path until you reach the end where the collectible awaits.
Key Item – Shrine Gate Key
From the last objective, jump back into the cave and exit towards the ravine, then defeat the enemies camped out in the area.
Cui Objective 3 – MISSABLE
Climb the ladder, use the third lever to lower Lu Sanquian’s cage, and give him the Rootless Dew. Be careful—you can only do this now, or you might miss it forever!
Hero’s Lament Objective
Return to the ladder, use the Detached Cage Lever to lower the fourth cage, and collect what’s inside.
#24 – Ink Cut (Phantom Edge)
Follow the path through the camp, then slide down the wall to return to the Cavern Passage Bell. Speak to Liu Yi about Moji’s Relic after obtaining Moji’s Bloodstained Sword.
#25 – Sha-Chi Amber Fragment / Key Item – Bloodstained Necklace / Key Item – Backstreet Courtyard Key
From the Commander’s Platform Bell, head up the previous path, talk to the Ironmask and choose the option “This won’t absolve you of your sins” to trigger a fight with him. This is necessary for the next tale!
#26 – Bai Xue (Tale) – MISSABLE
After defeating the Ironmask Assassin, approach the puppet behind him to initiate the tale. If you didn’t trigger the fight by choosing the correct dialogue, the puppet will be lost, and you can’t complete this tale.
#27 – Sha-Chi Amber Fragment
From the Cavern Passage Bell, climb the cliff face north and use the Missing Lift Crank on the elevator to reach it.
#28 – Banyan Tree (Challenge Location)
Cross through the locked door and wooden bridge from the Shrine Outer Gate Bell to arrive here, where you’ll face wave after wave of enemies and challenge Iron Butcher, The Frenzied Brute again alongside Jagged Steel.
#29 – Blackstone Fragment
Continue along the path from the last collectible, clearing out enemies you encounter.
#30 – Crude Radiant Heart (Accessory) – MISSABLE
From the previous collectible, ascend the stairs to see Lu Sanquian on the ground—if you’ve completed all objectives he’s given you, you can now talk to him for this accessory.
#31 – Bell (The Lady’s Shrine)
This collectible is right next to the previous one.
#32 – Seamless Death (Weapon)
You’ll acquire this by defeating Jade-Face.
#33 – Memory Flower
This flower can be found in the room on the right from where you fought Jade-Face.
#34 – Desperate Stand (Accessory)
This item is in the same room as the previous collectible.
#35 – Flying Guillotine (Phantom Edge)
Reward for defeating Huangxing, The Kunlun Renegade.
#36 – Inanis’ Radiant Fan (Phantom Edge)
In the arena where you fought Huangxing, use the Flying Guillotine to open a hidden passage leading downwards to get this item after a cutscene.
#37 – Bell (Puppet Cell)
From the previous collectible, exit through the portal and find the bell directly ahead.
Key Item – Puppet’s Tongue / Key Item – Crystal Puppet Eye [Yin]
Enter the orange portal straight ahead. If you’ve been following this guide correctly, this will be the third portal, allowing you to interact with the puppet and collect the item.
Key Item – Ritual Cauldron Fragment II
From the Cavern Passage Bell, head down the will behind you and open the hidden passage using the Flying Guillotine, which will be located on a table inside.
#38 – Restored Ritual Cauldron (Tempering Material)
Once you’ve collected all the Ritual Cauldron pieces, you’ll obtain this by following the path from The Lady’s Path Bell and exploring the left path down.
