ROB RUN Money and Laundering Guide – BCoin, Selling Loot

Managing money in ROB RUN is about more than simply earning cash from robberies. The game has three different types of currency, and each one serves a different purpose. You also need to understand how laundering works, where to sell stolen goods, and which stores offer the best prices.

In this guide, we’ll explain the entire money system, including bank accounts, Laundering Desks, on-character laundering, selling cargo, district Sales Centers, and the Black Market. I’ll also cover the roulette table at Lenny’s Motel so you know how it works before risking your money.

1. All Three Types of Money in ROB RUN

ROB RUN has three types of money: dirty cash, clean money, and BCoin. Understanding the difference is important because each currency has different uses and risks.

Currency How to Get It What You Risk
Cash (Dirty) Robberies, selling stolen loot, and cargo Can be lost or stolen
Clean Money Laundering dirty cash into a bank account Other players cannot steal it from your account
BCoin Purchased on the exchange using clean money Protected from federal confiscation

Cash (Dirty Money)

Cash is the money you earn from robberies and selling stolen goods or cargo. You can use it for purchases through the Black Market and to unlock Shipments in Larry’s Tree.

However, carrying cash comes with a risk. It can be lost when you die or stolen by other players.

Clean Money

Clean money is stored in your bank account and comes from laundering dirty cash.

Unlike cash carried in your bag, money inside your bank account cannot be stolen by other players.

Clean money is also needed for clan-related activities, including:

  • Creating a clan.
  • Placing bets.
  • Controlling businesses.

You can withdraw clean money through city ATMs or by speaking to a bank employee. Keep in mind that once you withdraw it as cash, it can be stolen or lost again.

BCoin

BCoin is purchased through the exchange using clean money.

Its main advantage is that it remains outside the reach of federal property confiscation. This makes it different from ordinary cash and clean money when it comes to protecting your wealth.

2. How Money Laundering Works

Money laundering converts dirty cash into clean money that is deposited directly into your bank account.

To use the main laundering system, you need three things:

  1. A bank account in Looty Bay.
  2. Your own house and plot.
  3. A Laundering Desk placed at your base.

Step 1: Open a Bank Account

Visit the bank in Looty Bay and open an account.

You cannot use the money laundering system without a bank account, so make this one of your first priorities.

Step 2: Get Your Own Home

You’ll need a property where you can place the Laundering Desk.

If you haven’t purchased a plot yet, check the Base and Plot guide for the steps involved in finding and renting a suitable property.

Step 3: Place a Laundering Desk

Place the Laundering Desk at your base and load it with dirty cash.

The desk processes the cash and sends the cleaned money directly to your bank account.

One useful feature is that laundering continues even when you’re offline. You don’t have to remain in the game while the desk processes your money.

3. Upgrade Your Laundering Desk

The amount of money you can launder depends on several factors, including your settlement’s level, desk modifications, and the businesses controlled by your clan.

Banknote Counters

You can upgrade your Laundering Desk using Banknote Counters.

Better desk upgrades allow you to launder more money, making them useful as your income increases.

Settlement and Clan Bonuses

Your laundering rate isn’t determined by the desk alone.

The following factors affect how much money you can process:

  • Settlement level.
  • Laundering Desk modifications.
  • Businesses controlled by your clan.

If you live in someone else’s settlement, the settlement owner receives a percentage of every laundering operation you complete.

Damaged Laundering Cable

Keep an eye on the laundering cable. If it becomes damaged, a 50% penalty applies.

This can significantly affect your laundering income, so maintaining the system is important.

4. Other Ways to Launder Money

You aren’t limited to using a Laundering Desk at your house. ROB RUN also has other laundering options.

Lenny’s Money Laundering Service

Lenny can launder your money before you own a house.

However, he takes a cut of the money, meaning you won’t receive the full amount.

Once you have your own base, using your personal Laundering Desk avoids this fee.

On-Character Laundering

You can also launder dirty cash directly on your character.

This method has a conversion rate of 0.5, meaning:

Dirty Cash Clean Money
2,000 1,000
10,000 5,000
50,000 25,000
100,000 50,000

The maximum amount of dirty cash you can hold for this method is 100,000.

5. Maximum Money You Can Grab in One Take

Different money sources have different collection limits.

Money Source Maximum Per Take
Laundering Desk 20,000
On-character laundering 20,000
Cargo exchanger 10,000
Settlement cash register 10,000
Cash point 10,000

Keep these limits in mind when planning how to collect money from different locations.

6. Where to Sell Loot in ROB RUN

Once you’ve completed a robbery, you’ll need to find the right buyer. Different buyers accept different types of loot, and the amount you receive depends on what you’re selling.

Fence – Sell Stolen Goods

A Fence purchases stolen goods and pays you in cash.

The amount you receive depends on two things:

  • Your Notoriety.
  • The value of the stolen loot.

Fences are a straightforward option when you want to turn stolen items into cash.

Smuggler – Sell Cargo

Smugglers purchase cargo and pay you in cash.

Their payment depends on the quantity and value of the cargo. Selling in bulk can be more profitable, but it also comes with greater risk.

Check the Cargo and Production guide for more information about processing and selling cargo.

District Sales Center – Earn a Selling Bonus

Sales Centers are located in different districts, but not everyone can use them.

You must rent a plot in the same district to sell loot at its Sales Center.

The selling bonus depends on the district’s level, so consider this when deciding where to rent your property.

Barter – Exchange Items for Equipment

You can also trade items through barter locations behind suspicious doors in Looty Bay.

Instead of receiving cash, you exchange your items for useful equipment, including:

  • Drills.
  • Keys.
  • Tools.

Check the Barter guide to learn more about these trading locations.

7. Black Market and Specialized Stores

The main store in ROB RUN is the Trade Laptop, also known as the Black Market.

It offers a wide selection of equipment, and its inventory expands as you unlock Shipments and move into higher-level districts.

What Can You Buy?

Besides the Trade Laptop, Looty Bay has several specialized stores.

Store Items Available
Gun Shop Weapons
Equipment Store Equipment
Electronics Store Electronics
Jewelry Store Jewelry
Liquor Store Liquor
Comics Store Comics
Pharmacy Medical supplies
Car Parts Store Vehicle parts

The source also lists liquor among the specialized store categories.

Black Market vs. City Stores

One important difference is the price.

Items purchased from city stores cost three times as much as the same items on the Trade Laptop.

If you’re trying to save money, compare prices and use the Black Market whenever possible.

What Happens During a Raid?

If your base is being raided, vendors and the Black Market become unavailable.

You’ll need to wait until the raid situation is over before using these services again.

8. Roulette at Lenny’s Motel

Lenny’s Motel, which serves as the game’s hub, also has a roulette table.

You can place bets on individual numbers or larger sectors of the roulette table.

The more precise your guess, the bigger the potential reward.

Winning chips can be exchanged for cash, allowing you to turn your roulette winnings into regular money.

However, the game settings limit each bet to 200,000.

Final Tips for Managing Money

  • Don’t carry too much dirty cash: It can be lost or stolen, so move your earnings into your bank account when possible.
  • Open a bank account early: You need one before you can use the main laundering system.
  • Get your own Laundering Desk: Lenny takes a cut, while laundering at your own base has no such fee.
  • Upgrade your desk: Banknote Counters improve laundering capacity.
  • Protect your laundering cable: Damage causes a 50% penalty.
  • Choose the right buyer: Fences buy stolen goods, Smugglers buy cargo, and Sales Centers offer district-based bonuses.
  • Compare store prices: City stores charge three times the Black Market price.
  • Use BCoin strategically: It remains protected from federal property confiscation.

Understanding these systems will make managing your money much easier in ROB RUN. Focus on earning cash, laundering it safely, and gradually upgrading your base so you can build a more secure and profitable operation.
