On Day 8, you’ll kick things off with Household Items on display. The mentor will inform you about an upcoming drop in material prices. Prioritize selling household items and weapons to your customers at the start. Once you engage in bargaining, remember that improving customers’ deals boosts your reputation with their faction. As you navigate through sales, keep an eye on the feedback box to track your faction standing. A Board Appraiser may show up during the day to invite you to join the board and earn cash by appraising items; don’t miss this opportunity. Wrap up the day by ending your shop hours or opting for scavenging for materials.
Make sure to take note of Day 9’s focus on security inspections. Anticipate a drop in food prices, so stock up whenever you can. As security visits, you’ll need to decide whether to report customers with contraband, which may alter your reputation within the Lower Levels.
During the day, you’ll also handle appraisals for items like Cybernetic hands. Use the manual and magnifying glass for identifying defects or upgrades, similar to how you determined fakes earlier on. End your day by focusing on food stock, as prices are likely to surge.
As Day 11 arrives, you’ll encounter food stamp identification guides. With a hinted ongoing food shortage, seize every chance to stock fresh food at your shop. While most customers should be straightforward, inspect food stamps thoroughly to dodge any scams.
After completing your transactions, don’t forget to redeem the food stamps for tokens at the Commissary. This can boost your inventory substantially if you choose the right items.
On Day 13, the focus will be on selling stolen items, which come with heat making them recognizable to security. With a full house of 14 customers, the Marketplace requests will now roll in from the top right corner of your shop’s interface.
Using the upgrades you’ve purchased, including the wine service, diversify your offerings. Watch out for any augmented customers—efficiently deal with them as needed by using the proper equipment.
Reputation levels with each faction have benefits or detriments tied to them. Hover over the emojis to see what they are. A Board Appraiser should show up and ask you if you want to join the board, this way you can earn extra money by appraising the correct price of certain items.
They will leave you with training materials. I selected Red Imp as one of my Wild upgrades.
So a delivery of beer should arrive as well. When you are done, end the night or go scavenging.
Week 2 – Day 9

This day will start with a note from the Mentor regarding security inspections. Also the newspaper tells me seed and food prices will be up for the next 2 days.
Buy any food items that come across your window. I also sold beer to an addict at a 10% premium.
Security should show up and tell you to report mid and high level contrabands. Choose what you want to do depending on which faction you want higher reputation with.
The next customer had mid level contraband on him. I reported him losing reputation with the Lower Levels and gaining credit and rep with security.
I had a customer come in for an appraisal on Cybernetic hands, which is the only I item that I am allowed to appraise as a level 1 appraiser. Use the manual and magnifying glass to identify defects or upgrades to appraise the value.
It is very much like determing fakes earlier. Deal with the other customers and end the day.
I stocked a lot of food on the display window as food prices are surging. Then I went out to scavenge.
After that I ended the day.
Week 2 – Day 10
Today’s newspaper talks about two things – a price increase on Nutrifruits and new security measures. I also called Joe Wild on 8376 from the phone and purchased the Buyer Referral Service.
I had 6 customer waiting, so I got to it. Between customers needing food, Sawyer may visit you to ensure you have storefront cleaning services.
Its going to be a nightly fee.
Odin Haraldsson might show up with a business proposition. He will buy contraband if you don’t turn him in.
He is wanted for $300. Decide if you want to sell contraband.
I chose to keep him as a supplier and he left me his card. Deal with the rest of the customers and end the day.
You will see Janitorial and Buyer referral services have costs attached. I chose to pay them.
Week 2 – Day 11

This day starts with a food stamp identification guide which can used to buy food from the Commissary after closing your store. The newspaper says food shortage will continue, buy any fresh food that comes across your store.
Most should be normal customers. But if anyone brings by food stamps, inspect them thoroughly.
I also bought an Engineering Foundry Supply Crate for 200 Credits. But I need an access card to open it.
After dealing with all the customers, I called Red Imp to order 8 beers for delivery. I also called Odin to come by, who will in 2 days.
I then went to the commissary and redeemed the Food Stamps I got earlier. I got 280 tokens.
Since they had nothing in stock really I headed back with Sealed Water Ration and Bandages. I returned to the store and ended the day.
Week 2 – Day 12
This day started with the news that materials prices will rise, along with fresh food and weapons are in demand in the lower levels. The mentor will show up and tell you about Augmented people. You need to shoot someone you suspect to be an Aug.
If Dr. Jackson shows up buy the Blank Access card from him. You need the Cryptographic Desequencer Chip (Engineering) and the Cryptographic Desequencer Machine from him to write Access Cards to open boxes.
Rest of the day just deal with your customers and end the day.
Week 2 – Day 13

This day starts with a message from the mentor regarding selling stolen items. Stolen Items have heat, and the more heat they have, the easier Security will recognize them.
14 Customers waiting for me today. I purchased the Market Referral Network and Wine service upgrades from Joe Wild.
From now on I will be getting Marketplace requests from the top right corner of my shop.
I also received the equipment need to make wine. Two strange customers came by, once a Foodie Tourist, who wants to buy food and the other is a case enthusiast, who will buy any cases you might have. If an aug shows up, like it did for me, equip the shotgun and kill it.
Otherwise handle customers as usual.
Week 2- Day 14
There was a list of codewords left for me. News told me that materials are going to be expensive, household items will be cheaper.
The mentor will come and tell you this is the end of the tutorial. If a shady customer shows up, buy their market information for 50 credits.
In my case it was that food prices will drop a lot in the next 3 days.
Handle all other customers as usual and pay the rent when the landlord arrives. Eventually end the day.
