You’ll catch different species of fish, with each one belonging to a specific rarity tier.
Current fish rarities include:

- Legendary
- Mythical
At the moment, the exact drop rates for each rarity haven’t been officially revealed.
Does Fishing Have Any Use?
Right now, fishing is mostly a collection and exploration activity.
Currently, fish don’t have a major purpose in progression, crafting, or combat.
However, considering Grand Alfheim is still in Early Access, this will almost certainly change in future updates. Fishing could eventually become useful for:

- Trading
- Crafting materials

How to Unlock Fishing
