Sea of Thieves Season 20 Deeds Guide (Custom Seas)

Season 20 introduces Custom Seas, giving players complete control over their own Sea of Thieves sessions. While Custom Seas do not provide gold, reputation, or standard progression, players can still earn Seasonal Renown by completing a collection of exclusive Season 20 Deeds.

Completing all available Deeds rewards players with the Custom Crafter Sails, while visiting every Legendary Location unlocks the Legendary Beginnings Trinket.

Sea of Thieves Season 20 Deeds Guide (Custom Seas)

Here’s how to complete every Season 20 Deed quickly and efficiently.

Earn 50,000 Silver

To complete this Deed, earn a total of 50,000 Silver during a Custom Seas session.

Fast Method

1. Create a Custom Seas session.
2. Select a preset and choose Edit Session Switches.
3. Open Scoring Settings.
4. Enable:
   • Custom Scoring
   • Start Scoring on Session Start
5. Under Gameplay Scoring Events, set Skeleton Kills to reward 5,000 Silver.
6. Start the session.
7. Spawn 10 Skeletons.
8. Defeat them.

Ten kills at 5,000 Silver each instantly grants 50,000 Silver and completes the Deed.

Grapple a Chest of Fortune While Flying

You must use the Grapple Gun on a Chest of Fortune while Fly Mode is active.

Steps

1. Equip the Grapple Gun from an Armoury.
2. Open Quick Commands.
3. Open the Spawn Radial.
4. Spawn a Chest of Fortune.
5. Activate Fly Mode.
6. While flying, equip the Grapple Gun.
7. Grapple the Chest of Fortune.

The Deed completes immediately.

Enter Free Camera with Graymarrow and Ghost of Graymarrow Present

Steps

1. Open Quick Commands.
2. Spawn Graymarrow.
3. Spawn Ghost of Graymarrow.
4. Activate Free Camera Mode.

Simply entering Free Camera while both bosses are present completes the challenge.

Defeat the Kraken at Tribute Peak

Steps

1. Create a Custom Seas session.
2. Select Tribute Peak as your Legendary Location.
3. Start the session.
4. Spawn a Kraken through Quick Commands or the Command Menu.
5. Defeat it using:
   • Cannons
   • Tridents
   • Black Powder Barrels
   • Hunting Spears

Once the Kraken dies at Tribute Peak, the Deed is complete.

Crash Into a Skeleton Ship Using Quick Sail

Steps

1. Spawn a Skeleton Ship.
2. Return to your vessel.
3. Open Quick Commands.
4. Activate Quick Sail.
5. Ram directly into the Skeleton Ship.

The collision completes the Deed.

Add All Three Cursed Chests to the Spawn Radial

You must assign:

• Chest of Rage
• Chest of Sorrow
• Chest of a Thousand Grogs

Steps

1. Open Quick Commands.
2. Open Spawn Radial.
3. Select Add Item.
4. Choose Treasure Item.
5. Open Cursed Chests.
6. Add all three chests.

After assigning all three, the Deed is completed.

Visit Every Legendary Location

There are four Legendary Locations available in Custom Seas:

• Tribute Peak
• Old Sailor Isle
• Glorious Sea Dog Tavern
• Damned Sea Dog Tavern

Steps

1. Create a session.
2. Select one Legendary Location.
3. Set sail.
4. Repeat for the remaining three locations.

Visiting all four unlocks the Legendary Beginnings Trinket and completes the Deed.

Defeat Red Ruth, Warden Chi, and Old Horatio at Port Merrick

Steps

1. Fast travel to Port Merrick.
2. Open the Spawn Menu.
3. Spawn:
   • Red Ruth
   • Warden Chi
   • Old Horatio
4. Defeat all three bosses.

Using Black Powder Barrels can dramatically speed up the fight.

Defeat 50 Skeletons During a Storm and Fog at Morrow’s Peak

Steps

1. Open the Command Menu.
2. Navigate to World Settings.
3. Move the Storm to Morrow’s Peak Outpost.
4. Move the Fog to Morrow’s Peak Outpost.
5. Travel to Morrow’s Peak.
6. Spawn 50 Skeletons.
7. Defeat them.

The challenge completes once 50 Skeletons are defeated while both conditions are active.

Detonate 40 Black Powder Barrels on One Ship

Steps

1. Open the Command Menu.
2. Navigate to Spawn Treasures.
3. Open the Smugglers’ Treasure section.
4. Spawn 40 Black Powder Barrels on your ship.
5. Ignite one barrel.

The resulting chain reaction will detonate all barrels and complete the Deed.
