The latest Wizard Alchemy update added an entirely new island, new enemies, fresh materials, stronger brooms, more chest locations, and a new boss that players are already farming for legendary drops. If you just entered the second world and feel lost, this guide will walk you through everything step-by-step in simple English so you know exactly where to go, what to farm, and what is actually worth your time.
The update looks huge at first, but once you understand the map layout and the important farming spots, progression becomes much easier.

How To Reach the Second World
To unlock the new island, you first need at least 3,000 gold.
From spawn, head toward the side area where the portal is located. Right beside it, you will find a broom seller. Buy the broom there, and once you equip it, you can finally fly across to the second island called the Sea of Oblivion.
The flight speed honestly feels pretty slow at first, but this is your main way of traveling around the new world until you can afford the stronger broom later.
Second Island
Once you arrive in the Sea of Oblivion, the first thing you notice is that the general shop is mostly the same as the original island. However, the update adds several important new features:
- New materials
- New quests
- New enemies
- New chest locations
- New enchantment area
- Stronger broom upgrades
- A new boss farming route
One of the first new items you can buy here is the Lava Broom, which costs 50,000 gold. It is extremely expensive for most players right now, but it gives solid combat bonuses including:
- 30 Attack
- 30% Crit Rate
- 30 Cooldown Reduction
The stats are very strong, so this is basically one of the main long-term goals for the update.
You will also start finding new materials like Lava Rock and Ferns throughout the island.
New Quests and NPC Locations
The update adds several new quests around the island, and you should grab them whenever possible because quest rewards are currently one of the best ways to progress.
Near spawn, you can find NPCs that give tasks involving the new enemies and materials. Some quests ask you to:
- Collect Ferns
- Defeat Mutated Orcs
- Farm specific enemy types
There are also weapon-based orc NPCs around the island including:
- Sword Orc
- Bow Orc
These enemies are tied to several farming routes and quests, so learning their locations early saves a lot of time later.
One important quest involves defeating the Mutated Iron Axe Orc, which becomes one of the key enemies players farm for better materials.
Mutated Mob Locations
The mutated enemies are much more important than regular mobs in this update.
Most normal enemies in the second island only drop weaker rare materials, which honestly feels disappointing compared to the first world. The mutated enemies and boss are where most of the useful loot comes from.
Mutated Iron Axe Orc
From the island spawn area, head toward the left side section of the map. The Mutated Iron Axe Orc can usually be found around a smaller elevated lava area.
This enemy is one of the better farming targets because it has a chance to drop stronger materials compared to regular mobs.
Second Mutated Mob AFK Spot
Another mutated enemy can be farmed from an elevated ledge position. Players discovered that you can stand on higher ground and safely attack while avoiding most direct damage.
It still takes a long time to kill because of the enemy HP pool, but it works surprisingly well for semi-AFK farming.
Boss Location and Easy Farming Method
The main boss is located deep inside the lava section of the map.
From the central island area, continue toward the large volcanic region. The boss arena is inside this lava zone, and you can also pick up another quest nearby before entering.
Right now, the boss is considered one of the best farming methods in the game because:
- Bosses can drop better materials
- They are one of the only reliable legendary farming methods
- Regular mobs barely give useful drops
Easy Boss Cheese Method
Players already found a very safe strategy for farming the boss.
You can stand on a higher ledge above the boss arena where most attacks cannot properly reach you. While standing there, you mainly only need to watch for the boss’s rock throwing attack.
That projectile hits extremely hard, so make sure you parry it properly.
Other than that, the boss fight becomes much easier because the boss struggles to consistently damage you from that position.
The recommended stat setup from experienced players right now is:
- Around 12 HP
- Remaining points into Attack
If you struggle with parrying, you can invest more into HP for survivability.
Best AFK Farming Spots
The update added several decent AFK farming locations.
Golden Egg Farming Spot
One of the safer AFK areas involves the Golden Egg enemies from the first island section.
The enemies barely fight back, which makes them easy to farm while semi-AFK. The downside is their HP is incredibly high, so kills take a long time unless your gear is strong.
Mutated Orc AFK Method
The elevated cliff strategy near the mutated axe enemy is currently one of the better AFK methods because enemies cannot properly reach you.
It is slower than active farming, but useful if you want materials while multitasking.
Every Important Chest Location
Chest farming is honestly one of the best things you can do in this update because chests can drop legendary materials.
Some players already got multiple legendary drops just from chest routes alone.
Here are the main chest areas you should check regularly:
Spawn Area Chest
There is a chest near the upper spawn area once you enter the second world.
Always grab this one first since it is easy to reach.
Waterfall Chest Route
One chest appears near the waterfall section of the map.
Another chest can spawn on top of the waterfall itself.
After collecting that chest, go down into the waterfall area because there are usually two more hidden chest locations inside.
This is one of the best routes because several chests are grouped closely together.
Lava Zone Chests
Near the lava area, there are multiple chest spawns around rocks and cliffs.
One chest appears near the outer lava paths.
Another set of around four chests can spawn around the volcano section itself.
A lot of players have reported getting legendary materials from this area specifically, so it is definitely worth checking every cycle.
Bridge and Palm Tree Chest
Near one of the bridges, go behind the nearby palm tree to find another hidden chest location.
It is easy to miss while flying around quickly.
Enchantment Area Chest
There is also a chest near the new enchantment zone.
If you head toward the enchantment structure and look around the nearby platforms, you should find another chest spawn.
The update added a new enchantment area where you can use enchantment stones on weapons.
However, right now enchanting weaker weapons honestly feels like a waste.
Most experienced players recommend saving enchantment materials until you obtain one of the strongest weapons in the current map. Otherwise, you will replace your weapon too quickly and lose valuable resources.
So unless you already have endgame gear for this island, it is smarter to save your enchantment stones for later.
New Potions and Crafting Problems
The update also introduced new crafting materials and potions, including fire-themed potions.
Unfortunately, crafting currently feels very inconsistent.
Even when using:
- Legendary materials
- Epic materials
- Rare resources
You can still end up crafting weak rare potions.
That means players can spend hours grinding high-tier resources only to receive disappointing rewards.
At the moment, potion crafting feels more like gambling than guaranteed progression, so keep your expectations realistic while farming materials.
Best Way To Get Epic and Legendary Materials
Right now, the fastest material farming methods are:
- Boss farming
- Mutated enemy farming
- Chest routes
Regular enemies on the island mostly drop weaker rare materials, making them much less efficient.
If your goal is legendary crafting materials, focus almost entirely on:
- Daily chest routes
- Boss farming
- Mutated mobs
Those three activities give significantly better results than normal grinding.
The second world is much harder than the starting island, especially because enemies have huge HP pools and stronger attacks. Progress feels slow at first, but once you unlock stronger gear and start learning chest routes, the update becomes much more manageable.
A few important things to remember:
- Save gold for the 50k Lava Broom
- Prioritize boss and mutated mob farming
- Do chest routes constantly
- Avoid wasting enchantment stones early
- Learn boss parry timing
- Don’t rely on normal mobs for good materials
The update definitely needs some balance changes, especially with potion crafting and material drops, but there is still a lot of good loot to farm once you know the efficient routes.
