Let’s be honest for a second — the first few days of a new season always feel the same. You’re picking up loot, your inventory is full, and you’re constantly asking yourself: “Is this worth anything… or should I just sell it to vendor?”
I’ve been there. Everyone has. Season 9 actually makes gold-making way more interesting, but also a bit confusing if you don’t know what to focus on. So instead of throwing random tips at you, I’m going to walk you through this like I would explain it to a friend starting fresh.
Hero Siege Season 9 Trade Guide – How to Make Gold Fast
If you remember only one thing from this guide, let it be this:
Money now is better than money later.
A lot of players fall into this trap:
- “I’ll save this item”
- “Maybe it’ll be useful later”
- “What if price goes up?”
Meanwhile, they stay weak… and slow.
And in a game like Hero Siege:
Faster farming = more drops = more money
So sell early, get stronger, then farm better.
Early Game Gold (Hell 1 → Hell 4)
This is where most players struggle — but honestly, this is also where easy money is.
You just don’t realize it yet.
Simple Vendoring (Underrated Start)
At the very beginning:
- Sell mythic items (especially weapons/jewelry)
- Sell high-tier flasks
- Sell low-value satanics
But here’s the trick:
- Always check market price first
- If market ≤ vendor price → just vendor it (no tax loss)
Destiny Shards & Prospecting
Instead of selling mythics directly:
- Break them into Destiny Shards
- These are used for upgrading gear → always in demand
Sometimes shards sell better than the item itself.
Satanic Crystals (Hidden Profit)
- Break useless satanics → crystal dust
- Combine → Satanic Crystals
- Used for corruption crafting
These become more valuable as players progress.
Early on, don’t ignore them.
Mining (One of the Best Early Farms)
This is huge in Season 9 because of Ether Tree bonuses.
You get:
- Ores
- Gems
- Rare materials (like Jennium Powder, Terium Cores)
Even if prices fluctuate:
There will ALWAYS be buyers
Some players skip mining completely — and they’ll happily buy from you.
Runes (More Valuable Than Ever)
Season 9 made runes rarer:
- High runes = big money
- Angelic / Heroic runes = jackpot
Also:
- Runic shrines no longer give top-tier runes
→ supply is lower → prices go up
If you drop a rare rune early… don’t sit on it.
Sell it.
Keys (Huge Early Profit)
Keys are one of the best early-game sales:
- Angelic Keys → crafting + augments
- Ruby Keys → new Ether Tree value
- Bifrost Keys → always in demand
You can save them…
But unless you’re pushing bosses early:
Selling them is usually better
Scrolls of Raw (Consistent Money)
These drop from Shrines of Destruction.
Used for:
- Unlocking relic slots
- Progression quests
Everyone needs them → constant demand.
Boss Materials (Easy Sales)
Farm act bosses → sell:
- Boss parts
- Craft full Key of Terror (often sells better)
Simple farming, easy profit.
Bounty Quest (If You Have DLC)
If you unlock it:
- Guaranteed Bifrost Key
- Extra loot (runes, satanics)
Honestly, this is one of the most consistent gold sources early.
Mid Game Gold (Hell 5)
This is where things start getting serious.
You’re stronger, but now:
- Decisions matter more
- Markets get competitive
Uber Boss Materials
Bosses like:
- Reaper
- Sun Lee
Drop:
- Valuable materials
- Strong gear
But here’s the catch:
Loot is NOT guaranteed anymore
So you have two options:
- Sell materials → safe money
- Use materials → gamble for big drop
Choose based on your progress.
Codexes & Orbs (Very Important)
These are HUGE in Season 9.
- Create custom farming zones
- Can roll powerful effects
Value depends on:
- Zone type
- Number of sockets
- Duration
A good codex = massive profit.
Bad one?
- Break it into pages → reroll
Dungeon Keys
Now more valuable because:
- Required in Ether Tree progression
- Drop better loot
Some dungeons are especially profitable:
- Rat Den
- Event Horizon
Charms, Jewels & Random Drops
Don’t ignore random loot anymore.
Season 9 buffed them heavily:
- More affixes
- Better rolls
Sometimes a random charm can be worth more than a legendary item.
Endgame Gold (Inferno)
This is where the real money starts.
Big risk. Big reward.
Inferno Uber Bosses
Top-tier farming:
- Best loot in the game
- Higher drop rates
- Some bosses = guaranteed drops
Key bosses:
- Gabriel
- Almond Raw
- Luna
If you can farm these consistently:
You’re printing gold.
Inferno Materials
Even if you can’t kill bosses easily:
- Sell materials instead
These sell for very high prices, especially later in the season.
Act Boss Farming (Underrated Endgame)
Now extremely valuable because:
- Drop Inferno materials
- Drop exclusive heroic rings
Even casual farming here can make serious money.
New Boss – Architect of Rune
New Season 9 boss:
- High-end loot
- Likely expensive materials
Early weeks = massive demand.
Chaos Tower & Coliseum Fragments
- Used to summon Rackle
- Drops top-tier items
Fragments themselves sell well too.
High Value Items You Should NEVER Ignore
This is where many players lose money without realizing it.
S-Tier Satanic Flasks
Examples:
- Vodka
- Wizard’s Potion
- Bottle of Sake
- Coffee Container
Better rolls = higher price.
Charms (Big Money Items)
Look for:
- Crit Chance / Crit Damage
- Max Life / % Life
- Skill Haste
- +All Skills
- Resistances
If a charm rolls multiple good stats:
That’s premium-level gold.
Experience Gear (Very Important Now)
Because of the Incarnation Tree:
- XP = power
So gear with:
- High EXP rolls
= very valuable
Market Awareness
Season 9 shifts demand based on builds.
High demand gear:
- Arcane
- Lightning (Stormweaver, Bard)
- Physical (late game scaling)
- Poison (Prophet, Plague Doctor)
- Cold (Jotunn, Exo builds)
Fire might be slightly lower… but still viable.
It’s not from one lucky drop.
It’s this:
- Selling consistently
- Not hoarding
- Understanding value
- Farming efficiently
Most of your gold will come from:
Small, repeated profits — not jackpot items
Play smart, sell early, reinvest into your build…
and you’ll notice something:
You’re suddenly ahead of most players without even realizing it.
