If you’ve been playing AI Limit for a while, you’ve probably noticed something — the game doesn’t exactly go out of its way to hand you good gear. Some weapons are just lying around, sure, but others are tucked behind bosses, hidden paths, or NPC trades that are easy to miss if you’re not paying attention.
So instead of you running back and forth trying to remember where everything drops, I’ve put this together in a clean, straightforward way — what each weapon or spell is and exactly how you get it, explained like someone who’s actually gone through the routes.
AI Limit DLC Eirene’s Furnace of War Weapons & Spells Guide
You’ll start picking up your first weapons mostly around the Slums and Sewer areas, and these are more about getting you going rather than carrying you long-term. The Rusty Longsword can be found in the southwest sewer, while the Rusty Pipe is picked up in the Slums and works as a basic early weapon. The Pickaxe is also located in the Slums, usually found after dropping into the canyon area, and although it looks simple, it can carry you through early encounters if you upgrade it.
The Forged Steel Blade is another early pickup in the sewer, found after progressing through the Sewer Confluence area, and it’s one of the better early upgrades compared to the rusty weapons.
Blader Weapons – Boss Drops
A lot of your core progression weapons come from defeating specific enemies known as Lost Bladers. The Blader Longsword is obtained after defeating the Lost Blader in the Underground Shaft, making it one of your first “real” weapons. Later on, the Corrupted Blader Longsword drops from another Lost Blader in the Flooded Street area, offering a stronger version.
As you progress further, you’ll unlock more advanced variants like the Blader Greatsword from Rooftop Street and the Corrupted Blader Greatsword in the Slums, both tied to tougher encounters. There are also hidden variants like the Blader Swords, which require accessing a hidden location in the Courtyard of the Tree before you can pick them up.
Special Weapons & Trade Gear
Some of the strongest or more unique weapons aren’t found directly in the world but instead come from trades or purchases. The Opossum Sais can be bought from a vending machine in Sunked City High Street, while weapons like the Reapers, Scrap Lance, and Knight’s Lance are obtained by trading boss nuclei with Assis.
The Cast Iron Greatsword and Impact Drill are both sold by Frank in the Temporary Campsite, and they’re worth checking out if you prefer heavier weapons. Items like Materialism and Stygian Touch are found later in Rooftop Street and Spirit Depths, respectively, and tend to be more niche but powerful depending on your build.
Mid to Late Game Finds
As you move into areas like Withered Forest and Twilight Hill, the game starts hiding gear behind more dangerous routes. The Road Sign can be picked up in the Withered Forest after jumping into a poisonous area, while the Corrupted Blader Swords are obtained after defeating a Lost Blader deeper within that same region.
Weapons like the Serrated Halberd and Bonecrackers are hidden within sewer paths that require you to explore side rooms and drop-down areas carefully, which makes them easy to miss if you’re rushing through.
Spell Locations
Spells in AI Limit follow a similar pattern where some are boss rewards and others are found in the world. The Railgun is obtained early by defeating a robot in the starting sewer, while Flame Jet drops from a flamethrower enemy in the Slums.
Later on, Missile Barrage is rewarded after defeating a jetpack enemy in Rooftop Streets, and the EX-Railgun comes from destroying a giant robot in Ancient Machine Works, which requires breaking multiple pipeline sections first.
Exploration-based spells include Lightning Bolt in High Street, Spears of Punishment in Spirit Depths, and Partial Reconstruction, which is found after defeating a giant robot in the sewer and unlocking a hidden path behind it.
Trade-Based Spells
Some of the more powerful spells are tied to trading boss drops with NPCs. Ethereal Orb, Scales Blast, and Ethereal Beam all come from trading specific boss nuclei with Milliare, while Lightning Hammer and Lightning Cluster are also obtained the same way from different bosses.
You can also purchase spells like Ignition, Electrification, and Trailblazer’s Oath, making vendors just as important as exploration.
DLC – Eirene’s Furnace of War Rewards
The DLC adds a small but meaningful set of rewards that are tied directly to boss progression. The weapon Imperidom is obtained by trading after defeating Eirene, while Carven Heavemglow comes from defeating Prometheus.
Spells like Furnace Command and Eschaton Heavenflame are also unlocked through these boss fights, and the DLC includes multiple armor sets such as the Snowland Traveler set and Furnace variants, which are earned through challenge modes like Trials of War and boss rush sequences.
The biggest mistake you can make in AI Limit is assuming everything important is on the main path. A lot of the best weapons and spells are tied to side exploration, optional bosses, or trades that aren’t obvious unless you’re actively looking for them.
If you take your time exploring each area, revisit NPCs for trades, and make sure you’re defeating key enemies like Lost Bladers and dungeon bosses, you’ll naturally build a strong arsenal without needing to grind blindly.
Once you understand where things come from, the whole system starts to feel a lot more rewarding instead of confusing.
