Fisch Tranquility Rod Guide – How to get, Requirements

If you are trying to unlock the Tranquility Rod in Fisch, you should be ready for one of the longest and most adventurous quests in the game. This rod is not something you can simply buy or craft quickly. Instead, you will need to explore multiple islands, dive into dangerous areas, participate in special events, and collect many rare fish with specific mutations.

The journey begins in the Lost Jungle, where you meet an NPC named Sprout. He asks you to help him gather a full “band” of unique fish friends. Each fish on his list comes from a different location and often requires special rods, mutations, or even puzzle completion to obtain. Some fish are easy to find, while others depend heavily on luck, events, or trading with other players.

Although the process may sound difficult, it is also very rewarding. Along the way, you will explore nearly every major area in Fisch, learn about different rod mechanics, and gain valuable experience with mutations and fishing strategies. By the time you complete the quest, you will not only earn the Tranquility Rod but also become much more skilled at the game overall.

This guide will walk you through everything step by step so you clearly understand where to go, what to do, and how to obtain each required fish in the easiest way possible.

1. How to Start the Tranquility Rod Quest

First, you need to travel to the Lost Jungle.

When you arrive, look around the middle area and find an NPC named Sprout (he has an exclamation mark above his head).

When you talk to him, he will give you a long list of fish that you need to obtain.

Important tip:
You do NOT have to catch every fish yourself. The quest only requires you to obtain them, which means you can also trade with other players if you want to save time.

2. Fish Requirements and How to Get Them

Let’s go through them in a simple way so you understand where to go and what to do.

Lunar Clownfish (3 Required)

You can find clownfish at Roslit Bay (Coral Reef area).

To get the Lunar mutation, you can:

  • Use rods that give Lunar chance, or
  • Catch normally and appraise for the mutation.

This is mostly luck-based, so expect some grinding.

Mythical Clownfish

Same location as above.

Best method:

  • Use the Mythical Rod (about 30% chance).

You can buy this rod from the Traveling Merchant.

Lost Blue Tang

Also found in Roslit Bay.

To get the Lost mutation:
You must craft the Lost Rod, which requires:

  • Ancient materials from Ancient Archives.

If you do not have access to the archives, trading is the easiest option.

Exploded Great White Shark

You must wait for a Shark Hunt event.

To get the Exploded mutation:
You need the Boom Ball Rod, which you unlock by repeatedly triggering mines in Desolate Deep.

This is one of the harder steps.

Silver Great Hammerhead Shark

Also from Shark Hunts.

For the Silver mutation:
You simply need to appraise it until you get lucky.

Abyssal Shortfin Mako Shark (3 Required)

Found at Forsaken Shores.

You can get Abyssal mutation using:

  • Rod of the Depths
  • Abyssal Spectre Rod
  • Abyssal enchantments

This part is much easier than the shark steps.

Aurora Dumbo Octopus

Found at Roslit Bay.

To get Aurora mutation:
You can:

  • Use Aurora Rod
  • Use Aurora bait
  • Catch during Aurora events

Sparkling Butterfly Fish (3 Required)

Also at Roslit Bay.

Most players get Sparkling mutation by:

  • Appraisal farming (the easiest way)

Midas Golden Seahorse

Found behind Forsaken Shores.

Use the Midas Rod to guarantee the Midas mutation.

This is one of the easiest requirements.

Mythical Treble Bass

Found at Moosewood near Daily Shop.

Use the Mythical Rod again.

Heavenly Trumpet Fish

Found at Sunstone Island.

You need the Heavens Rod, which requires completing the Northern Expedition.

If you do not have this rod, trading is recommended.

Aurora Puffer Flute

Found in Crystal Cove (Depths area).

Catch near the waterfall and apply Aurora mutation methods.

Lunar Stringed Grouper

Also found in Crystal Cove.

Same Lunar methods as before.

Midas Spotted Drum

Found in the Crowned Ruins underwater area.

Use the Midas Rod.

Heavenly Siren Singer

Located in Atlantis Ethereal Abyss.

This area requires solving puzzles with another player.

This is one of the hardest parts of the quest.

Mythical Hidden Pipefish

Found at Castaway Cliffs.

Use the Mythical Rod again.

3. Claiming the Tranquility Rod

Once you collect all required fish:

  1. Go back to Sprout.
  2. Talk to him.
  3. Submit the fish.

You will receive the Tranquility Rod.

4. Tranquility Rod Stats

Here are its main stats:

  • Lure Speed: 65%
  • Luck: 100%
  • Control: 0.15
  • Resilience: 30%
  • Max Weight: 8000 kg

Special Ability:
Each catch has a 15% chance to apply Spirit Mutation.

5. Unique Feature: Rhythm Catching Minigame

This rod adds a rhythm-game mechanic when catching fish.

You can choose control settings such as:

  • Arrow keys
  • WASD
  • DFJK

The harder the fish, the harder the rhythm pattern becomes.

6. Is the Tranquility Rod Worth It?

It is not the strongest rod in the game.

However:

  • It is extremely unique.
  • It is fun to use.
  • It gives a rare mutation effect.

So it is mostly a collector and fun rod, not a top-tier grinding rod.
