Starting Medarot Survivor for the first time can feel like you’ve walked into a control room full of buttons. There’s a lot happening on the screen, but once you understand what each section does, everything becomes much easier to manage. This guide walks you through every important menu and system with clear explanations so you know exactly what to focus on.
The Home Screen
Think of the home screen as your main hub. Everything you need branches out from here.
A: Survivor Pass
This is a 30-day pass system that gives you extra perks during runs and improved rewards from MedaSearch. If you plan on playing consistently, this becomes very valuable over time because the bonuses apply repeatedly, not just once.
A.2: Diamond Pass
The Diamond Pass enhances your level-up milestone rewards. As you level your account, you unlock tier-based bonuses. These tiers can stack, meaning you can claim multiple layers of milestone rewards if you invest in it.
B.1: Settings
This section handles several important features:
- In-game news
- Gift collection
- Wallpaper customization
- Gameplay settings
- Account management
Linking your account here is extremely important. Connecting to Google ensures your progress is saved securely.
B.2: Friend List
You can manage friends here and sort them using different filters. While not critical early on, it becomes helpful for social features and comparing progress.
B.3: Items
This is your inventory. All collected materials, upgrade items, and resources are stored here for easy access.
C: Robattle
This is where the core gameplay happens. Select a stage and test how long you can survive against waves of enemies. Your skill choices during runs determine how strong you become.
D: MedaSearch
MedaSearch allows you to send a Medarot to collect passive rewards. The best part is that it works even while the game is closed. This is an excellent way to accumulate resources without actively playing.
E: Missions
Here you’ll find ongoing and completed missions. Clearing these rewards you with extra materials for progressing through stages, upgrading Medals, and other activities.
F: Challenge
Challenge stages are harder than normal stages but offer better rewards. These are ideal once your team becomes stronger.
G: Store
You can purchase Diamonds, Coins, or sometimes even Medarots directly here. Spending wisely is important, especially early in the game.
H: Party
This is your team management screen. You organize Medarots, raise Medals, and strengthen your lineup here.
I: Robattle (Home Shortcut)
This usually acts as your quick-access button back to gameplay from the main interface.
J: Gacha
Use tickets or Diamonds here to pull for new Medarots. This is the primary method of obtaining higher rarity units.
K: Research
Research unlocks permanent upgrades as your player level increases. These upgrades strengthen your overall account rather than a single Medarot.
Settings Breakdown
Inside the Settings menu:
- In-game News keeps you updated on events.
- Gift Box stores claimable rewards.
- Wallpaper allows customization.
- In-game Settings adjust gameplay controls and preferences.
- Account Management lets you link your account.
Always link your account early to avoid losing progress.
Team Screen Explained
This section is where strategy begins.
A: Team Rotation
If you create multiple team setups, you can switch between them here.
B: Power
Power reflects your team’s overall damage output. Higher Power generally means stronger attacks.
C: Armor
Armor represents your total health and defensive strength.
Balancing Power and Armor is important for survival.
D: Full Screen
Removes interface clutter so you can view the Medarot artwork clearly.
E: Downgrade
Allows you to reduce a Medarot’s level if necessary. This is situational but useful when reallocating resources.
F: Synthesis
Duplicate Medarots obtained from Gacha can be fused here to increase rarity. Ascending a Medarot unlocks stronger passive effects.
Rarities include:
R, SR, UR, LR, MR
Higher rarity means stronger base stats and enhanced abilities.
G: Organization
This is where you assign your main Medarot and structure your team.
H: Medarot Details
View skill effects and passive unlocks here. It also shows what additional bonuses are gained at higher rarities.
I: Medals
Medals are upgradeable stat boosters.
There are six types:
Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta
The Medarot assigned to the Alpha Medal becomes your active in-game model during Robattles.
Gameplay Mechanics: Medarot & Support Resonance
During a run, you can hold:
- Up to 6 Medarot Partner skills
- Up to 3 Support Items
The real depth of gameplay comes from how these interact.
Collecting duplicates of the same Medarot skill increases its power or number of attacks, up to +5.
If you collect a sixth copy while holding a resonating Support Item, you unlock Burst Mode.
Burst Mode significantly strengthens that skill, often increasing its damage, range, or frequency.
Important Support Items
Support items directly influence performance during runs.
Combat-Focused Supports
- Overcharger: Increases damage dealt
- Energy Oil: Restores HP every 5 seconds
- Solid Shield: Reduces incoming damage
These are extremely helpful in tough Robattles.
Utility and Progression Supports

- Mini Magnet: Expands pickup range
- Learning Disc: Boosts EXP gained
These help long-term progression but don’t directly improve combat strength.
Performance Boost Supports
- Mobile Radiator: Reduces cooldown between attacks
- Propulsion Device: Increases movement speed
- Bullet Oil: Increases projectile speed
- Power Tank: Increases attack range
- Bulletproof Tiles: Increases armor
These enhance survivability and damage consistency.
