The new season 7 March 2026 has already produced two standout Merge Tactics meta builds. One is extremely oppressive and can feel unfair when fully upgraded. The other is a five-Traits synergy team that stacks damage and defense together in a very balanced way.
If you want to climb efficiently right now, these are the two builds you should be practicing.
Merge Tactics Meta Build 1: Full Undead Fire Dragon
This is currently one of the strongest builds in the game because it weakens enemies before the fight even begins and then deletes them with splash damage.
Troops Required
- Skeleton King
- Giant Skeleton
- Skeleton Dragon
- Witch
- Baby Dragon
- Wizard
Traits
Undead Traits
Activated by Skeleton King, Giant Skeleton, Skeleton Dragon, and Witch.
This Traits reduces a large portion of enemy HP at the start of battle. Enemies begin the fight already weakened, which gives you immediate advantage.
Fire Traits
Activated by Baby Dragon and Wizard.
This Traits increases overall damage output and strengthens splash damage.
Dragon Traits
Activated by Baby Dragon and Skeleton Dragon.
This Traits allows your dragon units to deal more damage and take less damage, especially against melee-heavy teams.
Hinder Traits
Activated by Wizard and Witch.
This Traits gives attacks a chance to slow enemies, reducing their attack speed and movement speed.
How the Full Undead Fire Dragon Wins
The Undead Traits softens enemy troops instantly. Then Baby Dragon and Wizard deal splash damage that wipes out weakened units. The Giant Skeleton controls space and punishes grouped enemies. The Skeleton King tanks while Witch enables key Traitss.
If you secure a strong Baby Dragon upgrade, this build can snowball very quickly.

Cluster units around Baby Dragon for maximum value.
Full Undead Fire Dragon 2: Titan Fire Trait Synergy
This build stacks five Traitss together, creating a team that deals high damage while also taking reduced damage. It is very strong in early and mid ladder.

- Giant
- Royal Giant
- Baby Dragon

All Traitss stack together to create consistent pressure.
Upgrade Priority
- Baby Dragon
- Wizard
- Giant
- Royal Giant
- Skeleton Dragon
- Witch
Best Positioning
Place Giant in the front center.
Position Royal Giant close to your core to boost damage.
Keep Baby Dragon slightly behind tanks.
Wizard and Skeleton Dragon should stay protected in the back.
Witch should remain safely positioned for support.
If you prefer a balanced team that stacks synergy and feels safer in longer matches, run Titan Fire Five-Traits.
Both builds are currently very effective and worth mastering. If the meta shifts, these cores are still flexible enough to adjust around future balance changes.
