The chapter opens with the launch of the ZArena, set inside the abandoned building across from your shop. Octavia introduces herself as the organizer and announces you as a finalist in a tournament.

- Sell pizzas that specifically request figs
- Reach the tournament requirement to progress the story
Important detail: Only legitimate orders that ask for figs count. Adding figs randomly won’t help.
Just keep fulfilling fig orders, and the story will move forward automatically after enough progress.
The Theft That Changes Everything
Before long, a cutscene reveals a mysterious figure stealing the Dough artifact — the tournament’s grand prize. The event gets cancelled, and the chapter shifts into investigation mode.
You’ll receive:
- A suspect photo from the WPA agent
- The ability to visit shops and question characters
- Timed exploration segments with hidden clues
Your early focus should be questioning the main suspects:
- Alicante
- Dr. Keh
- Cicero
- Octavia
Before doing anything else, visit the ZArena again. This triggers a hint pointing you toward a hidden lockpick on the floor — your first real piece of evidence.
Following the Evidence Trail
Once you collect the lockpick, show it along with the suspect photo to the other ovenists. This leads to the discovery of the Deep Dish Gang connection and introduces Flash as a new suspect.
After clearing Flash, you gain:
- His alibi photo
- The first stone tablet piece
Next, return to the ZArena artifact room and collect:
- A pizza cutter near the broken display case
- Two additional tablet pieces hidden in the exhibits
You’ll also receive another tablet piece from Alicante if you show him the original fragment.
Investigating the Three Ovenists
This section forms the core of the chapter. You’ll gather evidence by unlocking each ovenist’s shop through a series of farming tasks.
Alicante’s Stall
Flash reveals his favorite pizza: Classic Meat.
To investigate his stall:
- Grow and deliver 300 figs
- Make his favorite pizza
- Search his shop
Inside, you’ll find zucchini seeds, unlocking a new topping.
Cicero’s Restaurant
After learning about her past, you must:
- Grow and deliver 300 zucchinis
- Search her shop
There you’ll find a suspicious article that leads to unlocking artichoke seeds.
Keh’s Kitchen
Keh demands 300 artichokes before allowing access.
Inside his kitchen, you’ll discover hidden notes behind a curtain — crucial evidence that pushes the investigation forward.
Solving the Diary Puzzle
Eventually, you’ll obtain Octavia’s locked diary.
The combination is based on crops visible in the ZArena:
- Zucchinis: 5
- Figs: 6
- Artichokes: 4
Enter 564 to unlock it and earn the Diary Decoder achievement.
Inside is a photograph connecting Octavia and Cicero, which leads to Cicero’s arrest and the discovery of the hidden Dough.
Rebuilding the Stone Tablet
By now you should have collected all tablet fragments.
Reassemble them in your Collection to earn:
- Expert Puzzle Solver
- Elementary, My Dear Ovenist!
Important warning: Do NOT show the completed tablet to Octavia, or you’ll trigger a game over reset.
Instead, take it to Keh to continue the story.
The Bear Network Quest
To upgrade Keh’s freezer, you must obtain a rare medallion through a chain of bear contacts using the BakedIn social feature.
Follow this sequence carefully:
- Invite the pink-clothed panda
- Then invite the gardening-hat brown bear
- Finally invite the polar bear wearing a green scarf
The correct polar bear provides the Ice Crystal Medallion needed to upgrade the freezer.
The Three-Day Pizza Ritual
This is one of the trickiest parts of the chapter.
The tablet instructions are not for one pizza session — they must be completed across three separate days.
Day 1
- Sauce on one half
- Cheese on the other
- Freeze once
Day 2
- Add figs, zucchinis, and artichokes
- Freeze once
Day 3
- No toppings added
- Freeze three times
- Cut into eight slices
Place the final product into the tablet to trigger the final story sequence.
Chapter Completion
