If you’re getting a little bored of the same old Satsuma suffering, I’ve got good news. There’s another project car hidden in My Winter Car, and unlocking it feels like stumbling into a secret side quest the game never properly explains. The first time I found it, I honestly thought I had broken something — but nope, it’s real, and it’s awesome.
My Winter Car Car Unlock Guide – Location and Buying Car
Let me walk you through it the same way I do on every save.
1. Getting the Phone Number
You technically can find the phone number written inside the new gas station, but if you already know it, you can skip the scavenger hunt and save yourself some time.
This phone number is what unlocks the whole thing. No call, no new car. Simple as that.
2. Calling the Owner
Head back to your house and pick up the phone. Dial the owner’s number and let it ring.
Here is the most important part — when he answers, do not hang up. Let him talk. He rambles. A lot. Just let him finish and disconnect on his own.
I learned this the hard way by hanging up early and wondering why nothing was happening. If you cut the call short, the map marker never appears and the seller never spawns. The game just quietly pretends the car doesn’t exist.
Once the call ends properly, open your map. You should now see a brand-new marker pop up.
3. Traveling to the Location and Buying the Car
Hop in your car and follow that new map marker. When you arrive, get out and walk toward the owner.
He will start talking again — yes, more rambling — and nearby you’ll spot your new project car sitting there, looking like it’s judging you already.
Wait for him to finish talking. Once he mentions the price, walk up and pay 500 MK. Just like that, the car is yours.
To get it home, use the Kekmet to tow or carry it back to your garage. Trust me, trying to move it any other way is asking for pain.
4. Missing Parts & Final Steps
And that’s it — the new car is officially unlocked.
It will probably be missing parts, and it definitely won’t be road-ready yet. Any parts you need can be bought from Fleetari, so expect to make a few shopping trips and lose a few thousand marks while you’re at it.
The first time I finished mine, it felt like starting the game all over again — but in the best way. More building, more learning, and a whole new project to keep you busy.
