In Weak Legacy 2, your fighting style determines your combat flow, damage type, and even combo potential. As of the latest update, there are three main fighting styles available, each with its own unlock requirements, location, and missions.
This Weak Legacy 2 All Fighting Styles Guide will walk you through how to unlock: Soryu Style Ascetic Blaze, and Ice Katana.
1. Soryu Style – First Fighting Style
Soryu is one of the starter but power-packed fighting styles, ideal for players stepping into mid-game. It features fast-paced combos and is relatively easy to unlock compared to others.
How to Unlock Soryu Style:
- Location: Find the Soryu Master NPC (shown in the video; follow the path directly).
- Requirements:
- 100,000 Yen
- Kill 1 Akaza
- Kill 50 Lower Moon 4 Demons
Quest Breakdown:
Step 1: Defeat 50 Lower Moon 4 Demons
These enemies are scattered in specific zones, and the video shows the farming spots clearly.
Step 2: After clearing the 50 demons, head toward Akaza’s spawn location and defeat him.
Once both objectives are complete, return to the Soryu Master, and the style will be unlocked and added to your inventory.
2. Ascetic Blaze
Ascetic Blaze is a more intense and late-game fighting style. It’s built for players who are looking to dominate PvE and PvP with high burst potential and status effects like burn.
How to Unlock Ascetic Blaze:
Location: Found in a more secluded area (shown in video).
Requirements:
- Level 500+
- 500,000 Yen
- 1 Crystal Essence
- 200 Demon Horns
- Completion of a special quest
Quest Objectives:
Find the Immortal Flower
This rare item can spawn in three known locations (all demonstrated clearly in the video).
Check all three locations until you find it.
Kill 75 Lower Moon 4 Demons
Much like the Soryu quest, but a larger count. This will require more time and possibly a party to speed it up.
Once both quest objectives are complete, speak with the Ascetic Blaze trainer, and the style will be added to your inventory.
Note: After Update 4.5, Ascetic Blaze now applies burn after the 5th M1 hit, giving it new combo potential. Perfect for aggressive players who can keep up pressure.
3. Ice Katana
The Ice Katana isn’t a traditional style in terms of punching or hand-to-hand combat — it’s a weapon-based style that comes with its own skill set once you unlock its “mystery” or mastery.
How to Get Ice Katana:
Location: Ice Katana seller (location shown in video).
Requirements:
1 Crystal Essence
There’s currently a bug or UI error in-game that incorrectly shows the price as 1 million Yen and 3 Crystal Essences, but according to the video and in-game experience, you only need 1 Crystal Essence to buy it.
Once you purchase it, the katana is added to your inventory and can be equipped like a fighting style.
How to Unlock Ice Katana Skills:
The katana requires grinding to unlock its true potential. You’ll need to farm with it equipped until the hidden skills are revealed (this is known as unlocking its “mystery”).
Once fully unlocked, the katana has a set of powerful ice-based moves, shown in the showcase section of the video.
