Best Towers Guide
Inferno
Stats:
- Level: 80/80
- Power: 172,736
- Area Damage: 1,130
- Ignite Duration: 3 seconds
- Attack Range: 1.25
- Ignite Damage: 226
- Attack Rate: 1.02 seconds
Inferno is the best tower in the game because of its target, It can attack both air and ground units. If you merge Inferno with 2 same class card(s) then it will unlock: Area Damage +12%, Ignite Damage +12% and Attack Rate -2%.
Tesla
Stats:
- Level: 100/100
- Power: 489,681
- Area Damage: 649.1
- Crit Chance: 2%
- Attack Rate: 0.36 seconds
- Attack Range: 7
Tesla is supreme card that gives area damage when enemy troops are in range. Higher level Tesla is very good against small fast troops. if you have this tower then you should try it in you decks
Vulcan
Stats:
- Level: 100/100
- Power: 489,681
- Ranged Damage: 1,003.2
- Crit Chance: 20%
- Attack Rate: 0.13 seconds
- Attack Range: 0.9
Vulcan is a supreme tower and It has very fast attack speed but low damage. I would say that Vulcan is very effective when placed near paths it become very useful and gives you advantage in battles.
Disco ball + Tough wall + Ballista is a great combo
I recently got a legendary Disco ball tower via the pumpkin exchange. I was very angry at that time for getting a “useless” tower. I have changed my perspective. This tower works great with Tough wall and Ballista, even better with Thorn as a hero of choice.
Let me explain!
While Tough wall holds up enemies, Disco ball tower will make them deal less damage to wall significantly due to “the dancing”. And the Ballista will have enough time to finish them off. Also when they gather up Thorn will deal very good AoE damage upon them
Skill Debates
I predominantly use FrostFall / CombatCharge / BombRain / TroopCalls – as they work on both air and ground targets and towers. People use ToughWall, but for me, the extra blunt health barrier it provides doesn’t counter the opponents well enough at higher levels, especially as it’s also ground-only and air enemies just fly/shoot straight over it.
My reason for using Bomb Rain and Troop Calls is due to Mai’s enhanced Swift-class buffs, which bring them up to standard. BombRain also helps with a daily quest (worth 10 medals). While TroopCalls is ground attack-based, they stall air enemies too, making them usable as a pseudo ‘tough wall’ for all enemies. They also act as Garrisons that I don’t have (I originally picked DroneLauncher towers over Garrisons).
Might use DevineDefence in the future, but mine’s underpowered at the mo, and the Cooldown is huge. Probably would need to be a Relic until it becomes more usable.
Haven’t fully investigated SleepMist, but it’s ground-only and doesn’t affect Bosses, so it would largely restrict its effectiveness. I dismissed ElectroPath in the past due to little/restricted ground-only based damage at the time. And EarthAttack, while powerful, again is ground-only, and doesn’t affect Bosses.
And if trying to beat stages are on a knife edge, consider rotating skills to a more appropriate class for better compatibility and effectiveness against enemies/bosses.
Could determine the difference between best using FrostFall or BombRain, for example (BombRain is Swift-class so stronger against Elemental enemies but inflicts less damage on Vanguard enemies, while FrostFall is Elemental-class so stronger against Vanguard but weaker against Swift, etc.) – also depending on each of the skills’ core stats of course, and even your Hero (Mai = Swift buffs, Brim = Vanguard buffs).
