The Champion’s Way event is a three-day challenge in Kingshot that shows up every two weeks, replacing the old Desert Trial once you reach Generation 4. At its core, it’s about tracking down and defeating Cesare’s Elite Rebels, but what makes it exciting is the chance to earn better rewards and work toward unlocking a featured Mythic Hero—in this case, Hilde.
How the Event Works
During Champion’s Way, you’ll spend most of your time hunting beasts on the world map. Each hunt drops Weapon Scraps, which act as clues leading you to the Elite Rebels. Once you’ve collected enough, you can launch a rally against them.
Every victory brings you closer to milestone chests, which unlock at one, three, five, seven, and ten kills. Inside, you’ll find useful resources like Mythic Hero shards, Hero XP, gear chests, and forgehammers.
Along the way, beasts can also drop Precious Keepsakes. Opening these gives you gems, stamina, speedups, and even more Hero XP, making them a solid side bonus as you progress.
Unlike the older Desert Trial where Diana had to be maxed before exchanging shards, Champion’s Way is more flexible—you can trade Weapon Scraps from Keepsakes immediately, without waiting to finish Hilde first.
Another key part of the event is the rally joiner rewards. By simply joining your alliance’s rallies, you can earn up to fifty rewards per day.
That means you don’t always have to spend scraps yourself; just showing up for your alliance is enough to keep the rewards flowing. And since there’s no limit to how many rallies you can start, you can keep launching as long as you’ve got scraps to spend.
Event Strategy
A smart way to approach Champion’s Way is to first focus on the ten milestone rallies so you can clear all five chests. After that, it usually makes more sense to put your stamina into hunting beasts.
This way you keep building a stockpile of Weapon Scraps for future events while still farming Keepsakes for immediate rewards. The nice part is that scraps don’t expire, so there’s no pressure to use them all at once.
If you’re looking to stretch your stamina further, Diana is a hero worth including in your rallies. Her skills reduce stamina costs, which lets you do more fights over the course of the event.
Just remember that unlike Desert Trial, you won’t get Hilde shards directly from rally rewards. The shards come from milestone chests and exchanges only, so don’t expect extra copies by spamming rallies after you’re done.
One last tip is to keep Auto Join enabled during the event. This ensures you never miss your daily joiner rewards, even if you’re offline when your alliance launches rallies. It’s an easy way to maximize your gains without micromanaging every fight.
Why Champion’s Way Matters
Champion’s Way is one of the best recurring events in Kingshot because it gives you steady access to Mythic Hero shards, valuable gear pieces, and large amounts of XP and resources.
By coordinating with your alliance, planning your stamina use, and steadily collecting scraps over multiple cycles, you can unlock and build up powerful heroes like Hilde without feeling rushed.
For players aiming to keep up in Generation 4, this event is worth committing to every time it returns.
