This Hero’s Land Best Heroes Tier List ranks heroes for general play (story, bosses, events) with a balance of survivability, crowd control, uptime, and safe DPS. I weight kits that work with common gear (no whale-only setups) and reward clean fundamentals like bleed/DoT uptime, shielding, and tempo control.

Hero’s Land Best Heroes Tier List (August 2025) – Updated

Quick tiers

S — META-defining or plug-and-play carries/supports
A — Strong picks with clear strengths or easy synergies
B — Playable/niche; needs matchup, gear, or team support
C — Outclassed or too situational for most players

S TIER (build around these)

Paladin — Teamwide invuln + cleanse + massive shield (45% Max HP) wins fights. Passive blocks and CD talents keep uptime high. Slot in any comp.

Bard — +10% team ATK aura, AoE dance (hard disable), speed + regen. Turns scary waves and boss adds into free damage windows.

Nightshade — Link to soak 30% of ally damage, share healing, and later equalize HP. With CC immunity/DMG RES while linked, she hard-carries defenses for glass cannons.

King — Guard + Archer summons scale with level and give King huge DMG RES. A frontline+pressure package that sustains long fights.

Demoness — Big meteor nuke with stun + silence + burn, excellent add control. Talents add extra meteors/cooldown cuts for boss phases.

Berserker — Max-HP % damage on axe, stun, and gets tankier/damaging as HP drops. Shines on bosses and thick targets; talents smooth the risk.

Wyvern — 30s thundercloud for long DPS windows and self-spawning healing marsh (team sustain + chip). Locks onto low-HP targets to finish waves.

A TIER

Spartan — 30% DMG RES stance, pulsing AoE, mini-stuns, and talents for guaranteed-crit HP-scaling damage. Great bruiser; watch stamina drain.

Vampire — Buttoned 5s immunity + huge self-heal with AoE DoT and lifesteal shield. Duelist that refuses to die; gains an AoE immobilize talent.

Druid — +90% Max HP bear stance and speed for 30s. Reliable frontliner; shrugs off CC longer. Simple, effective.

Treant — Big spike fan with root and passive team healing on weapon skills. Hybrid sustain + control for steady pushes.

Mummy — Constant scarab DMG + self-heal, more beetles per Max HP, poison + stamina shred. Scales off tank stats; thrives in long fights.

Mage — Blizzard slows, stacks Freeze, and loops staff cooldowns. Smooth mobing and safe control against fast packs.

Witch — Poison field with max-HP reduction stacks and stamina drain; talents add multi-launch and Poisoned on hit. Excellent attrition pick.

Ninja — Blink, shuriken lifesteal, and kill-reset windows. Great at wave clear and punishing low-HP targets; needs mindful play on bosses.

Swordsman — Blade Tempest scales with HP lost on target; CD sharing across blade/sword skills makes tight burst rotations.

Gadgeteer — 30s GM-74 mech = CC immunity, fat shield, elemental bullets, and regen. Park-and-shoot stability for objectives.

Nibbles — Devour for a 70% Max HP shield and stun spit; doubles as ally save + heal. Premium control tank.

Bombano — Free bombs on weapon skills, AoE micro-stuns, and a self-revive package (with CD reduction talent). Loves CDR/skill-spam sets.

McCluck — Bow kiter with an invuln Chicken Run to shed CC/debuffs and reposition. Great on hit-scan lanes and high dodge foes.

Fighter — Converts CRIT into Max HP, then punches using Max-HP scaling. Blink → charged punch bursts and self-heals; snowballs with tank gear.

B TIER

Necromancer — Overfiend pet soaks 30% damage and ignores control. Safe but slower; wants gear/time to ramp.

Bunny Flash — Map-control sprinter with two stored rushes and constant contact damage. Great for objectives, less for boss DPS.

Spiky Boy — Reflect window and Physical RES tricks; shines vs. multi-hit enemies. Less value vs. casters or one-shot patterns.

Maid — Long-duration self/ally meals (HP, shield, ATK, SPD). Good prep value; lower impact mid-fight than Paladin/Bard kits.

Werewolf — Two HP bars + beast lifesteal/speed, but form-split deaths can punish mistakes. Strong with practice.

Slime — Disguise, AoE slow, mini-chaos; creative pick for control and scouting. Damage/sustain lag behind.

C TIER

— Nothing is truly unplayable, but most players will be more consistent with A/S picks above. If you experiment, anchor with Paladin/Bard/Nightshade to raise floor.

Best-in-slot talent

Paladin: CD-reduction on Divine Protection; SPD boost on cast; passive shield → HP restore. Chain more saves.

Bard: Prioritize uptime—anything that extends/speeds the performance window or regen buff.

Nightshade: ATK/HP link bonus and CC immunity while linked; HP share every 5s makes wipes rare.

King: Defensive DMG-RES per soldier and faster legion up-time; treat him like a moving fortress.

Demoness: Extra meteor + burn DMG and on-hit mini-meteor chance; stack CDR to cycle silences.

Berserker: Delayed damage passive (smoother EHP) and small-axe procs; chase windows with lifesteal.

Wyvern: Thundercloud ramp and marsh spawns; lowest-HP lock for secure kills.
