Haikyuu!! Fly High Stamina & EXP Guide – How to Get More

Why Stamina Is So Important

Stamina (sometimes shown as “onigiri”) is the main limiter of progress in Haikyuu!! Fly High. Without it, you can’t:

  • Play story missions
  • Farm EXP
  • Upgrade characters or unlock their powerful fourth skills
  • Gain potential rolls

So your daily gameplay revolves entirely around how you spend stamina.

How to Get More Stamina

1. Natural Regeneration

  • You get 1 stamina every 5 minutes passively.
  • That’s about 288 stamina per day just from regen.

2. Manual Refill (Up to 8x Daily)

  • Tap the “+” next to your stamina bar.
  • You can buy stamina (60 per use) with gems — up to 8 times per day.
  • The gem cost increases slightly with each use.
  • Is it worth it? Yes — especially early game when progression is fast and you’re chasing upgrades.

3. Polygear Collection Event (Free Claim)

  • Go to: Events > Polygear Collection
  • Two stamina packs (60 each) are available daily.
  • Pro tip: You don’t have to log in at exact times — just claim both anytime after 7 PM.

4. Afternoon Nap (Training Program)

  • Under Training Missions, complete your daily tasks to fill the “Afternoon Nap” bar.
  • Once filled, you can claim stamina here. It’s like a passive overflow.

5. Daily Shop Offer (Not Recommended)

  • Found in the Shop > Special Offers tab.
  • You can buy 30 stamina for 30 gems, but this is not worth it compared to other uses for gems.

How to Spend Stamina Efficiently (Stamina Priority Order)

Here’s a priority list for spending stamina efficiently based on where you are in progression:

Priority 1: Main Story / Challenge Missions

  • Push the main campaign stages until you hit a level lock.
  • Being stuck due to level = you’ve used your stamina optimally.
  • Once locked, shift focus to farming.

Priority 2: Practice Matches (EXP Farming)

Use this mode when:

  • Your characters are underleveled (stuck at level 25–40)
  • You want to raise player levels up to 60

All EXP stages cost 15 stamina and give 150 player EXP regardless of color. Choose the one that drops materials you also need.

Note: If your characters are capped and can’t level further (due to account level or ascension lock), skip EXP farming.

Priority 3: Skill Upgrade Materials (Alba Johsai Stage)

This stage drops “energy cores” and books needed to unlock your 4th skill on each character.

  • These fourth skills often have major effects or powerful passives.
  • Unlocking them massively increases your team strength.

This is arguably the most important long-term upgrade once you’ve hit a good base level across your team.

Tip: Use “Quick Clear” to save time and sweep with max stamina.

Priority 4: Memory Farming

Memories are passive stat boosters tied to each character.

  • You want to get your memories to level 40 as a baseline.
  • If you’re short on green or blue memory items, run the Memory Practice Match.

Some players receive a pack with a big bundle of memory items early on — if you have that, you can delay this farm.

Priority 5: Potentials

Potentials are custom stat boosts that you can assign to your characters.

  • Drop in the Potential Practice Match
  • You can earn Epic or Legendary potential rolls
  • These offer RNG substats, so optimizing potentials can take time

How to handle it:

  • Do a few clears early on
  • Equip blues or purples you get from drops
  • Only start heavy potential farming after you’ve unlocked key skills and maxed levels

How to Manage Character EXP

Each character has a level cap depending on your account level and ascension:

Character Level Goal When to Farm
1–30 Early game EXP farming (constant)
30–40 Start mix of EXP + skills
40–60 Only do this once you’re well into mid-game

Tip: You can’t ascend a character until your account level is high enough. So make sure you’re also gaining account EXP from story progression and daily missions.

Unlocking Skills (And Why the 4th One Matters Most)

Every character has a hidden fourth skill that is usually a game-changer:

  • Unlocked using drops from Alba Johsai stage
  • Often adds new abilities or boosts core stats
  • Applies to every match once unlocked

Prioritize unlocking these before diving into potentials.

Dailies = Free EXP & Rewards

Don’t skip these. Ever.

Daily Missions (Training Program)

  • Some give account EXP, onigiri, and skill materials
  • Scroll down — the EXP is found in the chest rewards, not the top listed tasks

Make sure to clear them all daily. It’s free, consistent progression.
