Some quick Tribe Nine Enoki Guide & tips to get your practice going with some of the most fun melee characters in the game, imo

Her main sources of dmg are her strategy skill and ult. To be able to use your strategy skill, you need to build a heat gauge, which you can do in 3 ways:

Fourth hit of primary attack. A dodge attack counts as 4th hit of a primary attack

The first two hits were from a secondary attack. If you’ve gotten heat from another source of attack, then the 3rd hit from a secondary attack will also build heat. You can also start the fight doing the first two hits from a secondary attack, then dash and go back to a full secondary attack, which will increase your heat gauge on 3rd hit.

Counterattack

The fastest way to build heat is through counterattack and dodge counter. So your life as an Enoki main is learning the enemy’s pattern to figure out the best moments to parry or dodge into counter.

She uses all your stamina pretty fast, so when you get to a low amount of stamina its a good idea to dodge so you recover faster, which makes practicing both parry and dodge equally important as you may alternate your answer to enemies’ attacks to always build heat.

Lastly, keep in mind you can’t cancel the strategy skill animation until the very last few frames with a counter or dash, but you can cancel primary or secondary attack at any moment with either counterattack or strategy skill or dash.

You may pair Enoki with any character that could help break faster or buff Enoki’s damage

This is why I use variations, including:

Santaro – Attack buff;
Jio – Debuffs enemy defense;
Yo, They’re mostly for his break. ignore his healing as it’s actually counterproductive to Enoki’s damage using her 2nd passive; and
Tsuki – She has high support, which buffs Enoki chain skill damage, and if necessary, depending on your Tension Card setup, she also helps increase your bar during chain skill if you spend gems in her 1st passive while naturally giving the party 10% crit buff

For stats, you wanna stack Enoki with ATK, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage
For potentials at EX, you should have lv 3 on both Fighting instincts 2nd passive

As you get more options, you may get access to very strong 3* cards to use with her build, like Bad Wish (The one with Enoki’s art)

And the Ichinose card you can buy from the card shop works well with maximization if you need more crit rate
for example, this is what I am using right now

Full Party or Bad Wish got high priority to level up other interesting cards to test The ones you can drop from Death Penalty and Endrone

All Out can replace Battle Tactics, just gotta test how much more stamina it uses and if the tension cost is too high, considering how often the card will activate

Having Tsuki in the team can be especially important for that reason, too, since you can focus on giving her a maxed-out 1st passive
