Hi guys, finally, Classes have been introduced in Dead Rails, and Today I will show you Dead Rails Classes Guide, Tier List & Abilities. In March, developers released 7 new classes in the game. Our tier list is an updated guide with the new classes from the Dead Rails March update

Dead Rails Classes Guide – Tier List & Abilities

1. Doctor Class

Abilities & Equipment:

  • Starts with 2 Bandages and 2 Snake Oils
  • Snake Oil provides fast healing, useful for prolonged fights

Cost: 15 Bonds
Best For: Beginners who need healing during battles

2. Ironclad Class

Abilities & Equipment:

  • Comes with full armor (Helmet, Chest Plate, and Shoulder Armor)
  • Significantly reduces incoming damage

Drawbacks:

Reduces movement speed by 20%
Cost: 100 Bonds
Best For: Defensive players who prefer high durability over mobility

3. Alamo Class

Abilities & Equipment:

  • Comes with a Helmet, 3 Sheets of Metal, and Barbed Wire
  • Designed for fortifying the train

Cost: 50 Bonds
Best For: Players focused on defense and fortification

4. Arsonist Class

Abilities & Equipment:

  • Comes with 4 Molotov Cocktails
  • Molotovs deal double damage

Cost: 20 Bonds
Best For: Aggressive players who like area damage

5. Cowboy Class (NEW!)

Abilities & Equipment:

  • Spawns with a Revolver, Ammo, and a Tamed Horse

Cost: 35 Bonds
Best For: Players who want mobility and ranged combat

6. High Roller Class (NEW!)

Abilities & Equipment:

  • Items sell for 2x value
  • However, you are 10x more likely to be struck by lightning

Cost: 50 Bonds
Best For: Players looking to maximize profit

7. Vampire Class (NEW!)

Abilities & Equipment:

  • Increased movement speed and melee damage
  • Takes damage in sunlight but spawns with a Vampire Blade

Cost: 75 Bonds
Best For: Nighttime fighters who avoid daylight

8. Conductor Class (NEW!)

Abilities & Equipment:

  • Drives the train faster than other classes
  • Spawns with 2 extra coal

Drawbacks:

  • Half max health
  • No melee weapon

Cost: 50 Bonds
Best For: Speedrunners and transport-focused players
Additional Notes: One of the best support classes for team play.

9. Miner Class (NEW!)

Abilities & Equipment:

  • Spawns with 2 Coal and a Mining Helmet
  • Helmet has a built-in light for visibility

Cost: 15 Bonds
Best For: Players who explore at night or need extra coal

10. Zombie Class (NEW!)

Abilities & Equipment:

  • Can eat dead bodies to heal
  • Cannot use Snake Oil or Bandages

Cost: Unknown (Comment below if you know!)
Best For: Players who want a self-sustaining but risky playstyle

11. Survivalist Class (NEW!)

Abilities & Equipment:

  • Deals more damage when injured
  • Spawns with a Tomahawk and a Crucifix

Cost: Unknown
Best For: Players who fight aggressively while low on health
