Hi all, its often that new players ask what Capybara Go S Weapon they should choose, or players tired of their weapon asking if they should swap to a different weapon. Today I intend to make a post addressing what weapons you should choose, based on what you desire. I will rate each weapon on a few criteria Go S weapon
Banner strength. Banner strength describes the value of the other equipment in the banner. This is the easiest to judge as there are only 4 banners, as such, I will rank the banners first before ranking the weapons.
Weapon interoperability. Weapon interoperability describes how a weapon interacts with the other weapons in its banner. This includes the fact that banners with more than 2 weapons suffer from having greater difficulty at leveling said weapon, as more other weapons are gained from said banner.
Chapter. How well a weapon performs in the chapter. This depends on a few things, and I have my own internal value judgment on how to decide how well a weapon does in a chapter. Put succinctly, I view a weapon’s ability in a chapter not by its “cap”, but by its “expected number of tries for victory at x chapter”. This will of course have to be an estimate, but I will attempt to give my best, most informed opinion.
Skill-enabled game modes. This metric values weapon based on how well they perform in game modes with skills enabled, such as dungeon dive and the bosses.
Skill disabled game modes. These metrics values weapons based on how well they perform in game modes with skills disabled, such asa tower or raid dungeons.
Power curve. This metric values weapons based on how they perform at various stages of the game, and will be highly tied to weapon interoperability in many cases.
We shall begin with the banner rankings, here are the current banners, we will rank from top to bottom, and then we will cover the weapons
Limited S Chest Rotation

Skysplitter Banner
Skysplitter banner suffers from being utter trash. Its terrible. The chestplate is the worse of the two S chestplates, it has only one ring, the ring is terrible. Of the weapons in this banner, they have no interoperability. Only skysplitter is usable. The only redeeming quality is its accessory. Just kidding, its not. The accessory is terrible too. Final rating, 0 out of 5.
Angel bow banner
What a change of pace, going from the worst banner in the game to the best banner. This banner is the best because when you roll a chestplate, a ring, or an accessory, it will always be the best equipment in that slot. Of the weapons, many will tell you that only angel bow is usable. I highly disagree. Despite having 3 weapons in the banner diluting the weapon pull, the sheer interoperability of these weapons solidify this banner as the best banner in the game, with no questions. Final Rating, 5 Full, Shining stars out of 5.
Durian Banner
Sorry reaper fans, its the durian banner. This banner leaves a lot to be desired, including none of the best in slot items in the game, compared to the angel bow banner. However, it has 2 redeeming qualities. Firstly, the durian banner includes Skyflame ring, and is the only banner to do so. The same goes for the fact that it includes Reckoning badge. These two pieces of equipment have niche use cases, which I will not really be covering, but it does redeem the banner as you might find yourself wanting to have these equipment. The weapon interoperability in this banner is… fine. Its highly interoperable in theory but in practice Reaper Staff’s place as a well… staff… leaves much to be desired in terms of interoperability.
Whisperer Banner
“Angel bow banner on a budget” some might say. Provides dragon breath armor and judgement ring, but dilutes the pool with shmuck like proof of glory and shadow ring. Its serviceable, and has only 2 weapons, which is a great thing for whisperer users because the weapon interoperability is… not.. good. Bishop staff is, of the staffs, the second worst, with its only redeeming quality being its funny design pvp. And we are not considering pvp. Final rating, 3 stars out of 5
