One of the most challenging and rewarding features in The Slime Castle is Talent so in this Slime Castle Talents Guide we will talk about how to unlock talent and Maximum indicators of all talents in the game.

Note: These values assume no gear or slime bonuses. Values over 1k with 00 at the end are rounded to the nearest 100 due to display.
Personally, it is recommended upgrading attack/health in a ratio of 2:3 before chapter 6 to help in later levels of difficulty.
To unlock all talents/talent groups, you will need 124,300 gold coins.

Priority Talents: Attack, Attack Speed, Critical Chance, Critical Multiplier, Attack Range, Double Attack Chance, Double Attack Damage Percent, Dead Hit, Health, Damage Resistance, Dodge Chance, Status Resistance, Life Steal, Gold Bonus.

Attack Talents (Atk)

Attack: Increases base attack value.

Attack Speed: Decreases delay between attacks.

Attack Range: Increases the range at which enemies become eligible targets.

Critical Group: Increases the chance of multiplying damage and the multiplier itself.

Slow Group: Provides a chance to apply a Slow debuff, reducing the enemy’s movement speed.

Ranged Damage Multiplier: Multiplies damage; the current effect is known but the exact formula is unknown.

Hit Rate: Increases the chance of hitting enemies, countering enemy dodge chances. Above 100%, it offsets dodge chance.

Double Attack Group: Grants a chance for a double attack and adds a damage bonus for the second attack.

Multi Attack Group: Adds a chance of hitting multiple targets with one attack and defines the maximum number of targets.

Splash Group: Gives a chance to deal splash damage (hitting targets in a radius around the main target), defines the splash multiplier, and possibly defines the radius or number of targets.

Stun Group: Provides a chance to stun an enemy, and specifies how long the stun lasts in seconds.

Knock Back Chance: Provides a chance to knock an enemy back with fixed knock-back strength (unconfirmed whether some enemies resist this).

Dead Hit: Grants a chance to instantly kill a non-elite or non-boss enemy.

Skill Critical: Damage-dealing skills have a chance to deal critical damage.

Defense Talents (Def)

Health: Increases hit points (HP) available. You lose when HP reaches zero.

Regeneration: Increases the amount of health recovered each tick (time between ticks is not confirmed but estimated to be between 1-5 seconds).

Damage Resistance: Reduces the percentage of damage taken from enemy attacks.

Dodge Chance: Provides a chance to completely ignore an enemy attack.

Damage Return Multiplier: When hit, deals a percentage of the attack damage back to the attacker.

Shield Group: Manages shield health and shield recovery time after being broken. Shield takes damage before health.

Status Resistance: Reduces the time debuffs remain on the slime. It’s unclear if this affects enemy buffs.

Life Steal: Restores health to the slime based on the percentage of damage dealt.

Utility Talents

Coin Bonus each Wave: Adds a specific amount of coin at the end of each wave.

Coin Bonus each 50 Kills: Awards coins after every 50 enemy kills.

Gold Bonus each Wave: Adds a specified amount of gold to the battle loot at the end of each wave.

Gold Bonus each 100 Kills: Adds a specific amount of gold to the loot after every 100 enemy kills.

Gold Bonus each Boss Wave: Adds gold after killing a boss (bosses spawn every 10th wave).

Discount of Coin Price: Reduces upgrade costs by a percentage (rounded up).

Summon Talents (Smn)

Shroom Group: Summons shrooms after the cooldown period. They explode when enemies enter their blast radius.

Dragon Group: Summons a powerful dragon that deals massive area damage.

Dryad Group: Adds an active skill that lets you summon a Dryad with specific HP and damage stats. Only one Dryad can be summoned at a time, but the cooldown starts immediately after summoning.
